It looks that way this time that somethings are going to change. It appeared that there was "sexual anarchy" in the past where nobody got in trouble, so why not do it. To the last 20 years where if you did get in trouble, there were ways to pay off the victims and shut them up.

When it come to relationships and dating, I'm not sure how well it will play out. Obviously dating anyone from the office is out now. But I have to pass a background check at my job, so if I make a move on a girl that goes to the police claiming assault the next day, I will have to find a new line of work.

If all he did was just pinch women on their asses, I'm not sure it is equivalent to the rape, exposure, or molestation under the clothes that he and others are accused of. But I haven't heard of that level of sexual abuse about Sen Franken or George HW Bush. Kissing and feeling up women with their clothes on is still wrong, but the punishment needs to fit the crime.

I guess you haven't read anything about this story.

Not to mention that assault is assault when you touch someone against their will.

Seth Meyers calls Matt Lauer the 'dildo at work' for allegedly giving sex toy to co-worker

Oops. That didn't come out right. I'm aware of the other things that have been brought up surrounding Lauer and understand why NBC had to fire him. I was just trying to say that if all he did was pinch Couric's butt, while wrong, we can't just put everyone on the sex offender registry. Although since more information has come out about what else he has most likely done, and it is more emotionally damaging, the punishment has to be more severe.

Women Rule: Live updates and highlights

Several different stories in there...lots about empowering women and addressing the hostile environment they have to deal with
But not go overkill at the same time.

I'm always for talking, but you also have to involve a lot of men...they'll help getting the word out and the mindset straight in those you want to change...and prevent issues further in the future.

The silence breakers, all the women and men who spoke up were named Times Person of the Year.
    (Screw you 45)

Silence Breakers Named Time Magazine's Person of the Year

NEW YORK (AP) — “The Silence Breakers” — those who have shared their stories about sexual assault and harassment — have been named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

Numerous women have spoken out since October about sexual misconduct by dozens of high-profile men in entertainment, media, business and sports. Time praised those who have given “voice to open secrets, for moving whisper networks onto social networks, for pushing us all to stop accepting the unacceptable.” The magazine’s cover features Ashley Judd, Taylor Swift and others who say they have been harassed.

Time’s announcement was made Wednesday on NBC’s “Today” show, where longtime host Matt Lauer was fired last week amid harassment allegations. “Today” host Savannah Guthrie acknowledged Wednesday that this year’s winner hits “close to home” and mentioned Lauer by name.

Women who spoke out, initially against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and then others, helped to spawn the #MeToo movement, with millions of people telling stories of sexual misconduct on social media.

The tweets, Instagram and Facebook posts began after actress-activist Alyssa Milano followed on a suggestion from a friend of a friend on Facebook and tweeted: “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.” The hashtag was tweeted nearly a million times in 48 hours. #MeToo was actually founded by activist Tarana Burke a decade ago to raise awareness about sexual violence. Milano has said she wasn’t aware of Burke’s contributions when she made her initial tweet and has since publicly credited her.

Milano and Burke appeared together Wednesday on the “Today” show.

“This is just the start. I’ve been saying from the beginning it’s not just a moment, it’s a movement,” Burke said. “Now the work really begins.”

“As women, we have to support each other and stand together and say, ‘That’s it. We’re done. No more,'” Milano said. “It’s vital to me that we really set in some actionable things that we can do to continue this momentum.”

The two runners-up were Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Donald Trump, himself accused of sexual misconduct by numerous women. He has denied any wrongdoing. Trump, Person of the Year in 2016, had tweeted recently that the magazine had told him he “probably” would be honored again if he agreed to an interview and photo shoot. Trump added that he “took a pass.” Time has disputed his account.

Here is another side to this to ponder. It's more about consensual adults v using power over women...
Two women want the top spot in XYZ company. They both have every corner covered to get there ( Smart AF, dresses to impress, all the right schools, sucks up to ALL the executives male ...and female of there are any).
Both know their boss is a Groper and Predator, a well known fact in the building from pinching ass to asking for a "long lunch" in his panic button installed office.
Employee #1 has no desire to use the tactic of letting the boss do whatever he wants to her because "thats what he does". The Groper tries his moves on her and she ignores him and she tries her best to just do her job without getting her ass pinched knowing she will never break any ceilings there.
Employee #2 - Unbuttons her shirt a bit lower than #1 at the office when Bossman is around. Laughs at his innuendos. Lingers at the meetings afterwards. He takes notice, things happen and eventually, opens her legs at every opportunity for him. She wants all that comes with the territory and doesn't care.
The two are banging around all over the place.
#1 files a complaint on behalf of what has allegedly happened to her personally and wants to protect the other female employees.
She gets ignored for advancement, maybe takes a settlement if offered and eventually leaves because it's a hostile environment.
#2 the Opportunist, advances in her career, no surprise!
    But,
20 years later, both come forward with stories against the company, the Groping Boss and hashtags #Metoo all over social media. Both are equal in the allegations department because we don't know the backstories.

My point is when is the consensual line crossed and an office affair is just an affair? IS Sexual harassment all those things? When a woman has sex in the office place, knowing what the repercussions are, is it still sexual harassment if years later she says "I knew it was "wrong, but I was afraid to lose my job so I bent over the desk anyway...many times".
To say these women don't exist is irresponsible.

I'm female and I am empowered by the movement that is happening. 100%
Time Magazine named their Person of the Year as the women that came forward in the # Metoo movement. But, we will never know which women wanted and actually pursued the male perp to her advantage. This isnt about defending any of the stories that came out recently. I believe the integrity of most. It does not take away an ounce of the courage it took to come forward against the years of abuse women have suffered in hostile work environments.

Its just that I've witnessed similar situations in my industry and with these allegations against the actors, journalists, and politicians, etc. I think that some of that is mixed in there.

I predicted this spin from the start. The difference of course is that while at least some of Moores accusers appear to be plants, Al's were all left wing feminist supporters for the most part.

Don't give me this crap about the dems eating their own.

The Dems are busted because they DO more often come forward and are hung out to dry.
GOP denies, denies, denies...spins, spins, spins.
Not because they do less or are more moral.

Putting up Bill Clinton is a red-herring...
He’s a womanizer and supposed cheat (you do NOT know what he’s agreed to with Hillary)
Being in an open marriage and swinging yourself, you should know that won’t play in media or politics
But could easily be true in their private discussions
    We do not know.
    Nor do I care...
    He can play around
She can have all the bisexual sidebars she wants
It doesn’t make them harassers or assaulters
And they have been rumored AND investigated for DECADES
Nada has been found or confirmed
He’s just a player...but the ladies still love him.
Doesn’t make him a bad politician
Doesn’t make him not represent the citizens and nation well.

Let’s get off the moral equivalency

    One is a sexual privacy
Another is a crime or inappropriate action
Another is a role where they are supposed to help US

    They do not overlap.
Nor should they in a modern adult world.

There are plenty of men before Weinstein as well.

Kobe Bryant, Ben Roethlisberger, Bill O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, Jimmy Savile, Bill Cosby, Jerry Sandusky, Donald Trump...

And there are plenty of non-famous men who are doing this as well that don't make headlines. There are also plenty of domestic abusers out there too.

But, we have to be careful not to just lump everyone into the same category. Some of these crimes that were committed are way worse than than others who may have touched a woman who had clothes on.
