show and tell: your mutant powers

just thought it would be fun to start a thread detailing everyone's exceptional genetic gifts and what it's like living with them...

ill start. i have truly exceptional vision. my eyes are a unique kind of goldish yellow surrounded by just a bit of grey and green and i can read a novel from about 15 feet away. i always amaze my friends in cars by identifying signs from a mile or so away from where we need to turn; that's quite fun.

also... i'm 37 and never had a cavity. not something other people notice but it's nice to not fear the dentist. my mom didn't have wisdom teeth and her mom was born without an appendix too.

what do you got?

 

I can lose twenty pounds in a week just by changing my diet to something healthier.... it comes from when I use to box and had to drop weight... its a reason why I don't use weight measurement as a means to measure my success because I can flucuate greatly and I usually try to find a mean.... I also had insane endurance, I have been know, halfway through playing hockey to push myself so hard to puke and get back out there the next shift.... I can't stop moving my legs... I blame my hockey coach when I was younger, I was scared of him and he screamed at me a lot to move faster....

I also lack the ability to talk shit properly and talk dirty.... not a super power but it'll be my kryptonite...

 

I'm exceptionally intuitive is the scientific conclusion.
I know a bit about statistical probability and I say bullshite to that. I have a sixth sense though it's highly unattended to--I can't perform 'on demand' as it were.
Still, I've spent my life freaking people out 'reading their minds,' and knowing when things were about to happen...though there were no indicators beforehand.

 

I can make the Predator sound.

 

My unaided vision puts a book 4-5 inches in front of my eyes. But no worries, if I were to misplace my glasses long enough the ensuing headache would make reading the last thing I would want to try.

I once had some leaping ability and could solidly grab a regulation rim standing flatfooted underneath it. It was fun back when that kind of thing mattered to me; now I am happy just go through the day without any limping or knee pain (seasonal temperatures, etc. make a big difference there).

 

I have the power to make third party candidates look short.


I also make fire.


I can still make people look short, and have recently gained the power of the buzz cut.

 

this and the ability to eat.... and eat... and eat anything at any time (despite no weight gain in the past 7 years). my nickname with my "family friends" is "the garbage disposal"

 

I have incredible senses of smell and hearing. Sometimes I can hear the SBDs before I smell them... The hearing is only an asset when I can leave the room before smelling.

 

Damn you. I am jealous. (Kidding about the damn you part).

I have absolute pitch. I can wiggle both ears at the same time or my left ear by itself. I can move my eyebrows independently. I can also make a vein on the back of my left hand jump over my tendon.
