EVERY DAMN DAY......

 

I missed a $1300 business class flight. I'm really hoping that was a computer glitch. Also Kayak kept showing me all these mixed-fare flights with the long leg being premium coach instead of regular coach but they were also all sold out. If your website can tell me it's sold out when I click then it can bloody well tell it's sold out and not show it to me in the first place.

 

@Shadowex3 That just sucks! Is there anything you can do or any way to get your money back?

 

By "missed" I mean I didn't get a chance to buy it while I was ticket hunting.

Holy crap, it's windy as all hell today.

 

Work laid off a few more people, some even office personell.
Then called a meeting.
The GM told the machinists, no more lay offs.
They will find ways to document and eventually fire us.
Starting with us that have been employed the longest.
Because we are from the old school of thinking.
Oklahoma is a right to work state.
That means no job security without a union.
Today a new document was dissimenated and signed by us all.
The point system
If we clock in/out 7 mins from schedule 10 times in any annual rolling calender, termination of our employment is certain.
10 times a year?
Life is so much more complicated than that.
And targeting the people with over 10 years employment is fucking fucked up!

I know they have have threatened to fire anyone who even talks about a union but it is beginning to look like they aren't giving you any other options.
If you don't fight back somehow they will destroy you.

 

Every joint in my body is killing me today, and I have lots of shit to do before company comes tomorrow. Damn it, come on body, work with me!

 

I have been sick since Friday with something that gives you headaches and nausea.
It doesn't make you sick enough to completely knock you down but enough where you don't want to eat and it makes it hard to focus.
I went to work yesterday and barely made it.
Stayed home today and feel guilty, mostly because a number of people at the office have the same thing and we are shorthanded.
I guess I should feel grateful that I have a job that pays me to stay home and my coworkers are supportive.
Still this sucks.

 

@Katia I hope your bones feel better soon. Is there anything you can do to ease the pain?
