The thing that goes missing from this discussion of the 2% goal is that it was agreed in 2014 that by 2024, all nations would achieve the 2%. These nations have time to make up the shortfall, and many are getting closer.

And 3.6% from the US is ridiculous. But according to many talking points, the US is weak. Let's get real. The US is *not* weak.

I've refrained from saying anything because while annoying it just didn't seem worth it but @Derwood is right, a good portion of the memes aren't political or are only tangentially by representing the attitude of the kind of person who would consider it a good idea to vote for a compulsive liar under the thumb of a Russian oligarch.

Many of the memes you've posted, esp. recently, are just statements having little or nothing to with politics. Rather than acting butt hurt, why don't you start a thread for Random Memes?
