I just tried a new chili recipe....a bit too much cayenne, need to make rice.....(report later), actually I like to let the chili cool "rest" overnight in refer...always better the next day

I admit, I didn't know Canadians celebrated a Thanksgiving. Do you do the turkey and trimmings thing like the US or so you just go with the raw whale blubber?

Beef bolognese with whole grain spaghetti.

I'd struggle to eat all that but it sounds yummy anyway.

The crab cakes were tiny. There were two, maybe a large bite each if I tried to eat them all at once, but very tasty. The soup was a small cup. Still waiting on the steak and crab legs. ;)

You win Jonie. I had to take half the steak home in a to-go box. :p[IMG]

I'm not Canadian, just Oregonian. ;) From what I've seen, Canadian Thanksgivings look much like our own, just earlier, to coincide with their earlier harvest.

Thank you, Magpie. Looks delicious. I've printed out the recipe for my honey and I to try.
