OK I just had some weird thoughts (and yet again I'm wishing that I had MeltedMetalGlob's talent for graphics):

The foreign language scene from A Fish Called Wanda (substitute geographical terms for Italian words).

The Lady Justice sculpture scene from Blazing Saddles (substitute a globe for Lady Justice).

"Come in for nightcap. I'll show you my maps......perhaps even the topographical ones."

"Oh god, I'm so close, tell me again how much you want my fjord!!"

 

Amazing how two polar opposite emails can come in within minutes of each other and send you sky high and crashing down to the ground. I need a drink.

There haven't been any obviously creepy--at least in the open forums, can't speak for Conversations--folks around here for several years.

 

Not that anyone asked; but if you were wondering what happens when you play "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" through a speaker that is rated at 100w using an amp that can exceed that.



To their credit, PSB replaced a $70 titanium domed tweeter on warranty, even though I explicitly told them what I'd done.

I noticed the travel on the woofer was really cool, set up my camera & tripod to catch it, gave the amp another couple clicks, ...

 

I had it removed from my bike. I'd never use it. Couldn't care less what others do; but I'm too focused on the ride to enjoy music.

Don't listen to music skiing, either.

I like the bus ride to Kingston. Most of the time we walk there...8 miles. They have a small Mall which feels a little like the mall I use to go to in PA.
I miss the prices in the USA though. Two pair of Clarks...now I just need a job where I can where them.
