Because I'm a good sport, and we have a couple of decent Oregon State folks around here, I will be rooting for the upset tomorrow night in the NCCA Women's Basketball Tourney. Go Beavers. ;)

I think it's a long shot because of how dominant UConn has been, but I'd love to see Oregon State knock them off.

Okay, one more along the same lines before I go back to the usual facepalm memes and sexual frustration jokes:

  6. So do people who get these tiny houses not want children? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole point. I hear " I want to spend time traveling instead of paying for a huge house" .

I didn't know having a normal size home stop people from traveling. Here in chicago, our rent is pretty much the same cost as owning a normal sized home but we still travel quite regularly. ......i....just don't get it I guess...

I'm not really much of a sports fan, but I do enjoy watching a good contest. Having no ax to grind on either side, I have to say that the NCAA (men's) National Championship was one of the best contests ever. Well matched, well played, well coached, and the outcome was in doubt until the very last second. Wow. Worth the hype, even.

I have a friend who's an assistant at Wichita State who marvels at how the UConn women can be so consistently dominant for so long, but (unlike some other schools) they're never insufferable. Very unusual.

At one time Atlanta was ranked as one of the top "growth" cities in the country; I don't know if that is still the case.

    Joe the money is gone.

Yeah, I know the money is gone, where has it gone to?

    Atlantic City.

Is it coming back from Atlantic City?

Ah, I don't think so Joe.

What's it doing in Atlantic City?

    Recirculating.

    Reminds me of this one:p
"It is a slow day in a little Greek Village. The rain is beating down and the streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt and everybody lives on credit.

On this particular day a rich German tourist is driving through the village, stops at the local hotel and lays a €100 note on the desk, telling the hotel owner he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one to spend the night.

The owner gives him some keys and as soon as the visitor has walked upstairs, the hotelier grabs the €100 note and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.

The butcher takes the €100 note and runs down the street to repay his debt to the pig farmer.

The pig farmer takes the €100 note and heads off to pay his bill at the supplier of feed and fuel.

The guy at the Farmers' Co-op takes the €100 note and runs to pay his drinks bill at the tavern.

The publican slips the money along to the local prostitute drinking at the bar, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer him "services" on credit.

She then rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill to the hotel owner with the €100 note.

The hotel proprietor then places the €100 note back on the counter so the rich traveller will not suspect anything.

At that moment the traveller comes down the stairs, picks up the €100 note, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, pockets the money and leaves town.

No one produced anything. No one earned anything. However the whole village is now out of debt and looking to the future with optimism.

Xhamster just cut off North Carolina's access to porn as punishment for the anti-LGBT bills, citing the number of searches from the state for gay and transgender porn. Fan. Fucking. TASTIC. They should get the whole adult industry behind the embargo... "you want to be bigots? Fine, don't jerk off to the people you discriminate against."
