    When is your bed time?
Do you just keep moving until you feel like crashing, or do you have a set time that you aim for each night?

I have to get up at six for work and to keep sane and healthy I need my eight so I should crash at ten.
More often than not it winds up being 10:30 or 11:00.

We won't get into the nights when I have insomnia and can't sleep at all.

I'm into my third week of unemployment now (i'm accepting it as a short term thing, i've got plans for February) but my bedtime hasn't been as erratic as I thought it might be. Instead of getting to bed at a consistent time of 11pm while I was working (my alarm was always set for 7:30am), i'm now getting to bed between midnight and 1am every night.

We go to bed between 9 and 10 every night. We both get up pretty early for work.

    1-3am. I'm not a morning person, even though I have a 9-6 job.

  6. 11pm is my general target, but how I feel or what I'm doing can move it an hour either way. If I get 5 or 6 hours of sleep I do okay.

    I'm getting old.......
I'm typically dozing off on the couch at 9 or 9:30.
I usually have a stack of stuff I want to read, never get through half of what I hoped!

I usually get into bed sometime around 11-11:30pm, but usually read for 30-60 minutes after that.

If I didn't have a job or responsibilities in life, I'd probably be the type of person that went to bed at 4-5AM and got up at noon or 1pm every day. :p

    Move til I crash...my brain won't stop.
Can't go to asleep before 10...otherwise I wake in the middle of the night. (brain kicks in again)
Typically anywhere between 11 and 12...not uncommon til 1am

I don't sleep that much, maybe 5 or 6 hours on average.

There are some days I get home from work, make dinner, and decide to crash early between 8:30 and 9 pm. Other days, I get *really* productive around 9 pm, and struggle to break myself away from whatever project I'm working on to get into bed by 11. Most days, though, my bedtime is between 9:30 and 10:30 pm.

Between 10 and midnight in bed. Watch stuff or read for awhile. I have to let myself pass out in the middle of something or I'm up for hours. Back awake at some point between 2 and 4 am for an hour or two. Sometimes more than once. If I fall asleep too early, I'll be up at 12:30, 2, and 4:30 like clockwork. It's weird. So I kinda have multiple bedtime.

I usually hit the bed at around midnight, but will sometimes read for quite a while. Other times I turn off the light and fall asleep right away. Sig is bothered by light in the room, so if I outlast him I usually read on my Kindle after he turns off his light. Light doesn't bother me, though. If I'm tired, I have no trouble falling asleep, even in bright sunlight. Noise bothers me, though, so we don't keep a TV in the bedroom. The bed is for sex, sleep, and reading. Kind of like the stacks in a university library.;)
OTOH, if I'm tired, I have been known to bed down as early as 8:00 and sleep for ten hours. I usually wake up around 8am regardless of when I go to sleep. Earlier in the summer when it gets light early. I only set an alarm if I have to do something early in the morning.

    Midnight. At least lately.
Hubby goes to bed by 8:30 whenever he can. He has toddler bedtime duty and he likes to doze off beside her. Super cute.
I stay up to clean and feel ready for the next day. When I can get to sleep earlier, fine.
My body shuts off when I need to sleep. I have fallen asleep under a table in the middle of a huge party... More than 5x
    ... without alcohol...

I tend to go to bed late, wake up early (5:45am) and nap when possible.

I'm a night owl, so it varies, even though I'm up at 5:00 am M-F. If I'm really tired, or not feeling well, say 10:30. If I'm awake and reading a good book, it could be as late as 1:00 am.

I read an article that reported couples having a TV in the bedroom had a lot less sex than those who didn't.

In our case I might as well hook-up the spare TV in the bedroom. It could not possibly lead to less sex. Maybe mathematically--Zero sex with a 30% decrease in sex is what, -70%?
