Pointless Announcements

Yeah, cause the Ducks got a big win today.

 

Huskers had the day off today. We went to Sportscaster's (local sport's bar) and watched Sparty, whom Nebraska beat two weeks ago, beat Ohio State in absolutely dreadful weather. Husker fans are now much more approving of their new Coach from Corvallis, even if he does drive a Prius.

Well, the beer helps. But baseball must be even worse.

I think he was saying, "Oh Shit!!"
Because he was thinking of something that was beyond what he could think...or any other had thought up until then.

What do you do when you've had an idea that goes to that next level??
You laugh like a fuckin' maniac.
Which I did...

Because you don't know what to do...but you realize that what you are thinking is something else entirely.

I've gone to that next level...and I don't know what to do.
It's like I just jumped out of a plane...or I'm in love.
Or like I've gone insane...but I'm not insane...but I somehow have to explain it to everyone...including myself.

I don't know what to do.
But I'm smiling.

But the implications are PROFOUND.

I guess the only thing I can do...is somehow get it down, get it out there...hopefully stay alive until I can.
But how the fuck do I do that???
Not stay alive, nobody has full control of that...but get it out there...even just think about it.

I've still got to get my head around it...still think about it, somehow...there is no answer, at least not yet, not with our knowledge level or abilities.
But the idea still needs to be put out there...without sounding insane...with some rational basis.

I'm still trying to absorb it.
But all I'm saying is, "Oh Shit!!"

 

Uhh...kind of hard to do that if you don't have it all together.
I'm working with profs and other pros on portions of previous ideas
but this hasn't even been published yet...or even together.

And the idea that I had is based on these ideas...and just came into my head.

You can only publish when you've got it down.
Doesn't have to be perfect, but it does have to be coherent.

And that's harder and more time-consuming than just random notes and things lingering haphazardly.

I'm getting there...it's just that I don't do this on a FT basis.
Life happens.
And your brain and will don't cooperate.

It's not like Hollywood...these things take time.
But I am getting there.

The to-do list today is very lengthy.

 

Killing it: pie crust done, sweet potatoes for the pot pie done. Next up: apple pie filling and Hawaiian sweet rolls.
