    I rarely eat sweets.

Hilton properties usually give Diamond members a free snack and free drink upon check in. I usually grab a bottle of water and some trail mix or pistachios. But I'd be lying if I didn't admit to occasionally going for the Toblerone that many properties stock.

Now I have 5/6 Toblerone remaining. I said I bought them for work...my husband fell for that lame excuse.

I rarely eat sweets either, part of my low carb eating regime. I don't dare keep them around the house.

I'll have a dip of ice cream once in a while, but never take any home.

I hope my husband doesn't look over at me right now...I'm doing a dramatic lipsync to the first season ending of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. I may or may not know all of the words...even if it's in Japanese...

    It's my birthday today!
    I turned 39.:D
That seems old, but I don't feel old.
We went out for BBQ. I had ribs, side of collard greens with bacon, and a big piece of rhubarb cobbler with a candle stuck in it.

I'd love to tell this hip hop "artist" that swearing doesn't make him more street.

Easier to feel better when you're high as a kite. The combination of codeine cough syrup, Albuterol, and Sudafed is really interesting.

    The Cougars rallied from 20 points down....in the 4th quarter....with their back-up QB....against a good team....are now 9-0.

    EDIT--The Cougars are 10-0.

Holly Holm dominated Rhonda Rhousey and knocked her out.

  16. Back home in Michigan. It's a bright, sunny Sunday morning, but, coffee on the porch in mid-40s temps (f) just ain't the same as upper 60s on a patio looking out onto a golf course.

    Welcome back to real life.

We were watching the original Star Trek series last night, the episode about the children on a planet where there is an aging virus. I recognized Kim Darby (True Grit) immediately, and Michael J. Pollard (very long acting career). One of the kids looked familiar, and sure enough it was the actor best known (I think) for playing Dill Harris in To Kill A Mockingbird, John Megna.

For some reason, my sick husband got more done than he does when he's well. I'm confused.

Hey, @noodle could it be the Sudafed (60 mg) having some kind of effect on his ADHD?

Bingo. The "non-drowsy" aspect of Sudafed hits people with ADHD like an Adderall. It knocks me TFO because the dose is too high and it turns into a sedative. He must be getting just the right dose :) I'm a productive demon on Pamprin :D
