That is a fairly legit list.

    Have you watched 'The Wire'?

    I've been bingeing Gotham lately.

Yea the Wire is on a longer list. And I've got Gotham on my DVR. Hit about half of last season. Fell behind but it's all on there.

I'm on a M.A.S.H. 4077 kick right now. Glad you brought this up. As a musically inclined person, and remembering from childhood I noticed that in season 5 they dropped the tuba bass fart at the tail end of the theme song (Suicide is Painless). Any ideas as to why they dropped the fart? I can't hear the intro without the fart and always wonder why they dropped it. Was a nice close to that composition. The fart.

True story I had a roommate back in the early 80s that couldn't get enough of M.A.S.H.

My roommates name was Lloyd Braun. Guy was totally bad shit crazy.

    • Limitless (had to love the Ferris Bueller send off episode )
    • Suits (yes, I know law isn't that way...but I like the style & banter...and Meghan Markle is hot :D )
    • The Flash (representing DC)
    • ...John Oliver (a Brit doing more for America with his rants than most)
    • ...SHIELD (representing Marvel)
    • The Muppets (it really is for adults now)
    • ...Bill Maher (although I don't agree with him quite a bit)
    • Big Bang Theory
    • Game of Thrones
I've scaled down on what series I watch consistently...mostly I do movies and documentaries (Ultimate package on Quantum FiOS & Netflix and a TB DVR)
And I record Colbert & Kimmel...see which guests are on, FF thru most of the schtick.

If I do reality shows...it's mostly cooking & food, Anthony Bourdain and the such.
Food porn, that's as real as it gets for me ;)

Don't know Lloyd but I admire any man's name with two consonants in a roww. LLoyd. Sound it out...LLoyd. And the LLord said, let there be LLoyd.

I've had 'Suits' recommended to me more than once. I'll have to give it a shot.

You may have to binge the previous seasons to get into the story & characters...there's quite bit of background (but the banter will make it worth it)

Like most of the above but will add:

Rectify: Adelaide Clemens as Tawny is a beauty. Would marry her innards.
Hell on Wheels: Not a gay man but Anson Mount is a sexy beast and I could only hope to be half the character. Plus his last name is Mount. Plus he grew up down the road from me.
Shark Tank: Just cause I like it and can't find any sexy pics of Lori Greiner on the web. Yeah she's just alright but since I can't find anything makes her hotter.

I watch the evening news. Morning too, if I'm up early enough.
I watched the World Series. Go Royals!
I've watched some college football games the last few weeks.
I find most series predictable and the commercials (twenty minutes+ per hour) annoying in the extreme. Especially when I see the same one several times in an hour.
I listen to a lot of music. Mostly classical and jazz, Western Swing, punk.
I'm more aural oriented than visual.
So I have a music listening room. Two channel stereo. Books, desk, computer.
There's no TV in the room.

You should talk to Taneytown. He has a Seedy Side Room set up for just this purpose. He's very aural, yet visual at times. He likes swing dancing with men but it's probably not what you think. It's a matter of understanding between two men as they can't really go that way but need each other's company. This is a complicated situation but I can tell you first hand if you lean his way, the man will stare a hole through your soul.

Much like the gay rodeos, we're a subset of popular events and most wouldn't even know we're there. It's instantly recognizable once you're in the know. Like a secret handshake we have a secret look and once you've seen the look you know you're in.

To hear him tell it, they get inspiration from Lincoln and his special friend.

I haven't really watched anything "new" since The Americans. Which reminds me, I need to catch up on that one. Oh! I did watch most of the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Another one I need to catch up on.

All-time favorites: The Whedon trifecta of Buffy, Angel, and Firefly. Quantum Leap. Freaks and Geeks. My So-Called Life. Nova, though I don't watch it regularly—same for BBC & PBS documentaries. Animals & nature, science, space, and some history are the preference there.

Never got into the Sopranos. Keep meaning to stream it, but never seem to find time for TV these days.

Loved Breaking Bad and 24. Frasier was awesome, I saw David Hyde Pierce in a play on Broadway and he is one of the all-time great comic actors of our age.

    Let's see.... not sure I have 10:

    Star Trek (TOS & Enterprise)
    The Good Wife
    Once Upon a Time
    House of Cards
    The Affair
    Bloodline
