Heaven, I'm in Heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak

 

Made the mistake of listening to the intro to Sekaiichi Hatsukoi on the bus. Ugh, the feels. I need a day off without my husband to marathon it in bed again. Rawr.

 

Never count the Kansas City Royals out of the contest!

 

Tomorrow I am going to spend all day in bed watching anime.

 

I had a most excellent day today--professionally and personally productive.

 

If you don't watch Limitless on TV, you've got to watch this week where they do an awesome take on Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
I laughed my ass off.
Just awesome.

 

My wife is SO mad at me right now. However, I think it is HER fault, not mine.

I was in the bathroom off of our bedroom. There is a short hallway between our master bathroom and the master bedroom. One side of the hallway has the door to my closet, the other side of the hallway has the door to her closet, which is a walk-in. The lights were off in both closets and in the bedroom. When I left the bathroom I turned off the bathroom light, and was walking in the dark down that short hallway, through our bedroom, and into the hallway outside of our bedroom that leads to the dining room. I did not know that she was hiding in her walk in closet trying to scare me. As I walk by she jumps out and screams "BOOOOO!". Unfortunately for her, I don't flinch, break stride, or even acknowledge her trying to scare me. Being the horribly abusive spouse that she is, she punches me and yells at me because I am "unscareable" I laugh and walk out of the bedroom. She goes into our bedroom bathroom, and I decide to hide in the bathroom that is off the hallway between our bedroom and the dining room. 30-40 seconds later she walks by and I jump out and yell "ARRGHHH!" She immediately punches me in the chest several times as she starts screaming. Stanley comes bounding down the hall, ready to defend her. I am cracking up laughing. She is almost in tears she was scared so bad.



An hour later she is still cursing me and saying her heart rate isn't settled yet.


Me? I say she shouldn't start something she doesn't want me to finish.

 

I tell her, and anyone else that wants to get in a prank war, that I have no interest in starting trouble. But if you start trouble, I promise I'll get you back worse.


There is a girl at work who, 7-8 years later, refuses to have any part in a prank on me. She decided to help someone hide my office chair at work long ago.

So I stole her car.

I hid it on the other side of the building and didn't tell her when she left work to find it. She now tells everyone that she loves having me around, but doesn't recommend anyone messes with me.
