    Because the Texans played on Thursday, my wife thinks that Sunday will be a No NFL Games day.

    The cowgirls host the Patriots on Sunday afternoon. Like I'll miss the chance to watch the 'girls get stomped.

    One of my husband's cutest friends is directly in my line of sight at a beer festival. We ran out of chairs at our table, so he's not sitting with us, but it gives me a safe distance to admire the view.

    And yes, my husband is very aware of my crush. He's fine with it.

    My better half has slept 18 of the past 24 hrs. I think she might be coming down with something. The sleep along with the two or three trips to the restroom to vomit kind of gave it away. I think it's time to call her aunt and tell her we won't be there for dinner.

    I checked her temp. and it's just slightly high. But if she's up and around by tomorrow I'm taking her in to the doctor.

    One of my XBILs from Scotland called English sausage "soy & sawdust," which is pretty accurate. My wife raved about it, so one afternoon I ordered it at The Ale House. After a few bites I asked, "Is there any meat in these?" Even the worst sausage from Eckridge Farms or Hillshire Farms is 5x better than English sausage.
