Do they even listen to themselves???

One thing that both Hillary and Obama have in their favor is the ineptitude of their enemies.
Too bad they have to deal with their constant attacks and obsessions.

And now...even other nations, besides the US and Iran are commenting and criticizing the GOP on their fubar letter play.
German FM hits out at Republicans over Iran letter

Geez, when even outsiders are saying your shit stinks and it's hit the fan...and flung it everywhere, getting on everything
...you really need to clean up your act.

Hillary Clinton Emails: John Boehner Expected to Announce New House Investigation Into Her Practices

    Of course, you are...
    Another investigation...likely to go forever.
Another waste of time and money.
    Another red herring.

This is a tired tactic of the GOP...to distract from their own inability to lead and get things done
    AND their own embarrassment
AND tear down an opponent, instead of focusing on giving the public a better choice.

Even IF something is incorrect or illegal...THEY are NOT the ones that should be investigating.
Grandstanding, rumor and innuendo...this is all that comes out of their windmill chases.

As with the Iran issue, let the experts do their job.
Let the people who have the job, do the job

Don't you all have some fund raising to do??
Because I know you're not governing...

Oh, the GOP has been a running joke lately.
It would be funny and not as terrifying or frustrating if it didn't have an impact on us.

It's like they are the Justin Bieber's of the political world.

I could put this in the Presidential election thread...but this is focused on our favorite herd of elephants (now, some out and about...not in the room)

    The GOP’s Game of Thrones
Even Tyrion Lannister couldn’t figure out a power struggle this complicated.

At least they're not flashing their trunk on multimedia, like a Dem I know...

I wonder how many GOP are beginning to figure out that "stupid" is not doing it for them???

Welcome to the modern world...where people expect to be treated fairly and as individuals.
And you can't just do it with spin and anger anymore.

Hey, they don't have just books and TV anymore.
The internet shows you ignorance in real time.

And stupid remarks are played AGAIN and AGAIN...forever & ever.
I think even the most dense people can figure it out after a while.

    There's your "liberal" media again.
Or how about, people just want to live, the way THEY want to live.

You may have your way for a while...but sooner or later, the world chases up with you.

All Trump had to say was, "I would expand the Border Patrol and made sure they had the resources they needed and share intel with local law enforcement and intelligence agencies. I would help Mexico fight crime in their own country so their criminals don't make it into the US. I would look at the trade agreements with Mexico and negotiate some improvements that would be in the best interest of both countries. And we will punish illegal immigrants who come to this country and commit crimes by putting Sharif Joe in charge of a Federal Penitentiary in the Arizona desert."

    Is it really that hard?

Now, Trump probably looked at the polls and saw that Rubio and Jeb would be getting the Republican Latino vote anyways, but still, learn to be a little more passive aggressive.

I dont think Rubio will be getting much of the Latino vote after he ran away from the immigration reform bill he helped write (as one of the bi-partisan "gang of eight") then voted against after he got push back from the Tea Party.

Not the Latino vote as a whole, but the small subset of Republican Latinos who are glad that the immigration bill failed. That think that the poor migrant Latinos are making their lives harder because they have to put up with racist stereotypes.

I'm just not sure how the GOP will figure out how to handle that in the general election.

The more I watch Trump rise in the polls, the more I think (despite my best efforts at denial) about Rob Ford. Populists have a way of sneaking up the middle.

Trump will never, in a million years, reveal is financials. There is zero worry about him a serious candidate long term

Do you really think blue collar America is worried about seeing his financials or tax returns? They want to be successful and to win the game like Trump has. Trump just needs to sell the "American Dream".

I am much more concerned about the sneaky Upper Midwest conservative republicans that will be controlled by special interests yet try to keep the majority of people happy. While screwing up things behind the scenes trying to implement a secret agenda to screw over Democrats. Like Walker, Kasich, Snyder...

It's not about wanting to see his financials. It's about him legally HAVING to disclose his financials

    Yes.

Ethics in Government Act, one of those post-Watergate laws, requires candidates for all federal office to file an Office of Government Ethics financial disclosure form.

Donald Trump has entered the fray of Republican Presidential candidates with all the grace of a bully doing cannonballs and belly flops at the local swimming pool,” said Barry Blitt about his cover for next week’s issue. “I’ll certainly be watching the first televised debate, just around the corner, on August 6th. Trump never fails to provide hours of slack-jawed amazement.”

Perhaps if Trump wins the GOP primary...he will make Hillary angry enough that she shows personality and character.
She's actually quite good & interesting when she truly is pissed. (ex. the Bengahzi QNA on the Hill)

Her problem is she's stiff if she's trying to be good and calm.

With Boehner quitting has the GOP started to circle the drain?

Surely, you jest. Rank-and-file voters will barely notice. Given gerrymandering in place, Republican control of the House is secure through 2022, and Democrats are faced with the extraordinarily difficult task of winning the White House for the third consecutive time.
