One of the most underrated albums I've heard...IMHO

    Fire & Gasoline (1989)
Steve Jones (of Sex Pistols fame)

    Just really good rock.
The opening song "Freedom Fighter" alone, is great to speed off in your car to (just try not to put your foot to the gas on one riff)

But several are great,...and "God In Louisiana" is not what you'd expect of him.

Just picked up Cure For The Pain on vinyl.
Damn but Morphine was a great band and they sound perfect on wax.

Perhaps a link for the "geezers can't play" topic.

I've been an Allman Brothers fan since Duane was alive. Seen em in every iteration since 1972 (Berry; but no Duane). Seems Gregg Allman is playing the Boulder Theater in Oct for 2 nights. Been a long time since I've done two nights in a row; but it's Gregg Allman. It would appear that his voice is doing fine.

I ran across this on youtube and wanted to put it up before I forgot. Great sounds, but some are beyond (below) the capability of most computer speakers.

Game of Thrones or, maybe Game of (Trom)Bones...

    Thanks, @redravin, for the 'like':)
Sometimes I just get played out with the old guitar(s) bass, drums, and keys formula that inhabits and inhibits so much of so-called 'popular' music. Not that there is anything wrong with that formula, but the world of music has so much more to offer.

    How about some Brave Combo?

    Love bagpipes.
Not the biggest fan of polka per se but I like zydeco which is basically just fast, hard polka.

Maria McKee (with Lone Justice), one of the lesser known front women of the 80s.

And post Lone Justice solo doing a Springsteen cover
