Have you been in one before? I love them. One of the things I'll miss the most when we move.

Not quite the same, but we do get Pineapple Express - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and these rains easily flood local, small waterways, basements, streets, etc. They also don't stop.

I just keep looking at it. The AirBnB we're staying at has no air conditioning in our second/third floor room.

I almost passed out in yoga today. That was fun. The air conditioning there was busted. 102* outside, 93* inside. Oh well.

It's early enough in the summer that nights are still cool. You'll be fine.

I said not to trust the ten day forecast. I didn't say it would be better!

Our A/C went on the fritz overnight.
I'd love to ask the universe if there is anything else, but I'm afraid of the answer. I don't even own shorts. One hundred and three. No wonder the kid doesn't want to go outside.

Will you guys have a car? Getting out of the city might be your best bet. Mt. Hood is cool (literally and figuratively), as is the Gorge (there is always a breeze), plus sitting in an air conditioned car to do some wider sightseeing might help.

I feel you, though. I have to go to a wedding there next weekend. Hubs wanted to know if I wanted to go up early to visit our buddy in Milwaukie, as the wedding is in Happy Valley. I took one look at the forecast and said, nope. Portland doesn't run as hot as other cities when it is hot because of all of the trees, but still, like with any city, there's a lot of concrete.

Yeah, we're getting a FlightCar but can only drive 100mi per day. We're staying right next to Mt. Tabor and the kid is 20m east. I'll definitely pass along that idea... It's 87* in my condo now. That lady better pull out her window unit in our AirBnB. Ain't nobody got time for that shit.

Very nice part of the city! Hope it's not too hot to explore.

Me, too. It's been in the 100s with 90% humidity the past couple of weeks, so I think we'll be okay.
Air conditioner is fixed! Thanks to all the karmic forces in the universe.

It started off in the 60's this morning at 4:30 when I got up. rained buckets all day with heavy cloud cover. So weird for July in NE OK. Back to the heat this weekend.
