    At some point, which is very difficult to determine, you have let/make people live with the consequences of their poor decisions. We have neighbor who is very interesting person, but makes some questionable decisions. It took us quite a while to learn to let him deal with his self created problems.

    After three days of eating with my in-laws and my MIL's crazy ideas about food, I'm soooo glad to be back to my home and my way of eating. The lack of vegetables was astounding. A half-cup of salad does not make a serving of vegetables, people.

    I got invited to a big group of former coworker gathering. Fucking donkey balls if only two other people are showing up and I don't know one of them. I spent 45 minutes in traffic to get here. And no one is here either. I'm leaving in 15 minutes. Fuck yo shit.

    Oh, I let him deal with them...and I try to not get involved with his plans.
    Basically, I just say my opinion...be straight with him, then STFU.
    Sometimes he listens, sometimes he doesn't.

    And there's no way I can say anything those long periods I don't hear from him. And when I do...I say WTF.
    He's actually accomplished a lot despite it all...but Hoo-Boy, the lessons learned and the rough road.

    Right now, I'm trying to hint that the 3-some offered him by the more "mature" woman he just met on OKCupid along with a younger 25 yo woman, may not be looking out for his best interest... (and looking at his assets instead) :rolleyes:
    "Oh, she's legit...we talked for 3 straight hours the other night..." :eek:

    Why do I hear the Jaws theme song in my head right now???
