Although it wasn't that long ago that it was bitter cold out, I'm not really enjoying this pouring rain and "feels like" -6C (23 F).

Yes, there's a freezing rain warning.

    It's snowing and 32 F.
Which is good (I guess) because the snow is keeping the dust down from one of winters with the least amount of snow ever.

I'm hoping for a trip to Alyeska Resort for a meeting in August. AK is the only state I have not visited.

Cold (50 F) and dreary today and might change the cherry blossom peak anticipated for this weekend.

August is a nice time to visit (unless it's one of our rain all summer years) and Alyeska is really beautiful any time of the year.
Let me know and I can give you a natives tour or at least take you out to dinner.

    Sounds like a plan.

Now I just need the funding extension to come through as promised.

    Cold, windy, foggy, drizzling.

This is my least favorite weather.

I'll take zero degrees F to this lousy damp, which just cuts me to the bone.:(

Spring variable: Abundant gray/white clouds massing at the horizon, vibrant sun, rain, hail all within the hour. Dusk has the most spectacular light this season, all arty and dramatic.

70 something, overcast. Pretty sunrises lately. Peeping through layers of clouds. Hot by mid-day, showers recently, adding to the humidity to get it above 80% pretty much all the time now.

Crazy thunder storm right now. Was going to pick up my daughter from school in a few minutes... may wait until the storm passes. Don't really want to be on the roads when there's high risk of flooding.

Yesterday, on the mountain it rained longer than I've seen in a long time. We had to call the hike and get a ride from Cooper's Gap back to Woody Gap because of flash floods, and potential hail, tornadoes, and lightning. The wind and rain coming at you literally on top of a mountain sounds like a train. It's amazing.
Got home at 10 last night to a balmy 73 degrees.

Lincoln got nearly seven inches (officially, at the airport) between 6pm Wednesday and 6am Thursday. Flooding all over town, they are calling it a fifty year flood. Some people reporting ten inches in their rain gauge. The University baseball field is under three feet of water and people are paddling kayaks and canoes down some streets.

I need it to be sunny...I want to go to the pool.

It would be nice to just chill & grill (burgers, that is...not me, well not too much)

It was sunny and 80s here yesterday. It's supposed to be mostly sunny and 70s today. Tomorrow the rain rolls in, too little, too late.

Here's it hot, 100+ daily. Not a dry heat either- 90% humidity. Thank heavens for my pool, even if it is a glorified hole in the ground. Small hole at that.

I couldn't abide living in a place with 90% humidity very much of the time. Just wouldn't do it.
