    I absolutely loathe that operating system. Planning on buying a Mac to replace my desktop when I can. Has to be an upgrade available from Win 8 to Win 7 if I buy another Windows system.

    I hear they're releasing Windows 10 this summer. My guess is Windows 8 was such cluster fuck that they wanted skip 9 and go directly to 10. Maybe just so people will think they made major improvements. So much that they surpassed a 9 release.

    I will pick Linux or the Mac OS based on BSD anytime over Microsoft.....edit.....But I use Lightroom and Photoshop heavily so that is a factor for my daily use system.

    Yes, and yes. Most any fruit can be used to make a cobbler. Same with a crisp. They're pretty adaptable desserts.

    Nope, not just you. I use the streusel recipe from the Joy of Cooking to make my crisps; I adapted it a bit for the food processor, and it always turns out perfect. Peach, pear, apple, blueberry--mm, so good.

    I still don't "get" twitter, but some dude fine the Travel Channel favorited one of my twits. And I got all silly excited. I don't even know what that means.
    And then I realize he's "trying to get on the Travel Channel" and I experienced a moment of loss. Oh, social media... *sigh*

    Woo, taxes are all finished! This is the latest I've ever done them, but it couldn't be helped; one of my husband's employers kept trying to send his W-2 to a bad address.

    Up at 0300 again. Sixth night in a row. Been walking a lot lately trying to get back into shape and I'm at the blister stage. Soon enough I'll hit the callus stage and will be able to sleep until my normal 0430-0500. As I woke up this morning my first half awake thought was "and miles to go before I sleep."
