It's sunny and was actually as high as 1 C (34 F) for a while. It's so warm today! Snow is melting!

    Down to -17 C (1 F) tonight. :(

Popeye - I don't think it has snowed where I am for a few million years. it would great to see how the locals would react.
I remember a few years ago, I had 6 Nigerian Trainees over in Aberdeen, Scotland. On the third day it snowed quite heavily, and to see the looks on their faces reset my belief that humanity hasn't see it all yet. And, to have the pleasure of teaching adults how to have a snowball fight was sheer joy.

Ten degrees Fahrenheit at 8:30 pm. Had several feet of snow over the past couple weeks. The pile alongside my driveway is approximately 4 feet high. But tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 40's. Hooray.

41 F and so much of the snow has melted that they had to cancel the Fur Rondy sled dog races and they are rerouting the Iditarod race.
We've got pussy willows budding, they think it's spring.

Seriously this has been one of the warmest winters yet and that's warmer than last winter which was the warmest on record.
Tell me climate change isn't happening.

But Inhofe brought a snowball onto the floor, so that proves you're wrong. And fossils have been found on the Himalayas, which could only have been put there by a great flood.

It's been incredibly gorgeous here lately. 70s and sunny.

However, the skier in me is brutally disappointed by the total lack of winter.

Eighty-seven beautiful fucking sunny degrees here in Lincoln, Nebraska on the 16th of March.:) Broke the old record by ten degrees. Just enough gentle breeze to keep it from being too hot.

I spent most of the morning reading on the back patio and about 2:00 thought what the hell, why not, put on shorts and a bikini top, pulled a chair out into the middle of the back yard, and took an unintentional nap in the SUN!:D

My freckles will be out early this year.

And even better, talked to the back lot neighbor, who told me he is moving the first of May and taking his god damn constantly barking yipping whining sheltie with him.

    Hallelujah! There is a God!

Pouring rain. Glad I took the time to mow the lawn before it started.

    What's it like? Godsdamned winter.

    It's currently -6 C (21 F), but at least there's no snow. It's sunny.

It's supposed to get up to 9 C (48 F) tomorrow, which will be nice. But the long-term forecast is calling for very little above 5 C (41 F).

Things better shape up by mid April.

60* and raining... It's grabbing the pollen on the way down because the rain is so light, so it's actually raining pollen. Nasty as fuck.

We get that here. It turns cars yellow.

Our window screens are yellow. My white shirt was yellow last week after I spent 30m outside. It was in the air horribly. Now it's like wet flour. Stuck to everything. I can't wait to get away from 9 months of oak tree blooms...

Way too cold today where I'm standing. Not even 30 seconds outside without gloves on and my hands felt frostbitten. Eff you winter.

Here everything blooms for about three months, and then it's grass seed time! Joy of joys. I'm usually on three to four allergy medications at a time during the worst of it (February through May) and taper back to two for grass. Tree sex is the worst.

March finally showed up. It's been wild and wooly the last couple days.
