Using that crap as fund raisers from great unwashed is SOP.
Part of the reason you see some of that stuff repeated over and over again in the comments section is not because the people commenting saw it on Fox but because they just got an email blast with the words in the header.

Good point and too true.
However I really don't mind that they made money, other than it encourages them to do it again. (crime pays and all that...)

What I'm really pissed at is the waste of time & money on all these and then some.
It impacts me.
It impacts the nation.

AND they could have been focused on something more productive instead.

It's like a guy wasting his time jackin' off in a bunch of peepshows, instead of working on his relationship or finding a good partner.

He got off
and no one else got anything out of it...
but a bunch of spunk to clean up and less cash in the bank.

Conservatives are wising up and throwing Sarah Palin under the bus.

Too bad. She was always good for comic relief to the benefit of Democrats.

Sarah Palin’s odd, rambling speech last weekend before an audience of committed conservative activists in Des Moines has many influential voices on the right saying that the time has come to acknowledge that the romance has gone cold and the marriage is dead.

This is despite the fact that the 2008 GOP vice-presidential nominee told reporters upon her arrival at the event that she is “seriously interested” in running for president in 2016.

Her address was a 34 1/2 -minute roller coaster ride of cliches, non sequiturs and warmed-over grievances. One line that stood out: “GOP leaders, by the way, you know, ‘The Man,’ can only ride ya when your back is bent. So strengthen it. Then The Man can’t ride ya.”

The critiques have been devastating — and those are the ones from her friends.
“Quite petty,” wrote Byron York in the Washington Examiner. “A long and incoherent speech,” in the view of Craig Robinson of the Iowa Republican blog. “The foreordained culmination of a slow and unseemly descent into farce,” added Charles C.W. Cooke of the National Review.

Still others expressed concern that the GOP is damaging its own prospects by treating Palin as though she is doing more than promoting herself and her various ventures.

There is also a tone of soul-searching and even repentance in some of the commentary, as pundits on the right reconsider their own role in stoking the Palin phenomenon.

“In hindsight I regret contributing to the premature deification of Sarah Palin,” columnist Matt Lewis wrote Wednesday in the Daily Beast.
He added that “maybe her early critics saw some fundamental character flaw — some harbinger of things to come — that escaped me.”

Among those critics had been Washington Post op-ed columnist Kathleen Parker, who also weighed in after Palin’s speech contending that the Republicans had themselves to blame.

“In the end, the story of Palin’s rise and fall is a tragedy,” Parker wrote. “And the author wasn’t the media as accused but the Grand Old Party itself. Like worshipers of false gods throughout human history, Republicans handpicked the fair maiden Sarah and placed her on the altar of political expedience.”

Last weekend was far from the first Palin appearance that has raised eyebrows among her onetime fans. At the Conservative Political Action Conference in 2013, she said of her husband, Todd: “He’s got the rifle. I got the rack.”

“What does feel new is that she has finally gotten around to roundly losing conservative opinion leaders,” Lewis wrote.

Many seemed mystified by Palin’s unglued performance Saturday.

“Did the Teleprompter go down, did you have trouble with the copy, was there any moment in the speech where you had any difficulty because people had been so critical?” Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity asked her when she appeared on his program Tuesday night.

Palin shrugged it off. “I’m used to Teleprompters not working,” she added, and noted that had happened during her 2008 convention speech. She blamed the criticism on the “herd mentality” of the media.
As for her presidential ambitions, Palin said she was merely answering a question lodged by a “pesty reporter while I was promoting my Sportsman Channel show.” But she again said that she is “interested” in the possibility of a run.

Why fuckin' WHY???

Don't you have ANYTHING else better to work on??

THESE are your first focuses in power???
Obamacare (50+ times repeal attempts...NO replace BTW)
Abortion
Pipeline
Immigration reversal
Food Stamps

It's like a running fuckin' joke.
I'm not even a liberal...and this is idiocy.

How about INFRASTRUCTURE
Fix the tax code...flatten it out, simplify it, get rid of the loopholes
Stop the corporate subsidies.
Corruption
Influence
Jail overpopulation
Police issues
Monopolies
Fix the Justice system
Fix the voting system
Go after the bad guys...and so on.
etc...to infinity.

There are so MANY other things to focus on that EVERYONE needs fixed.

But, no...go after people & families who need food.
That's priority.
You EVER seen these people in grocery lines??? Paying for each item one at a time, each one registered slip...limited food selections. You think they WANT to do this??

Pathetic...no, the Dems are pathetic.

I would like to see more money go to the elderly, disabled and children. I would like to see able adults working and earning enough to buy good quality food at reasonable prices. Systems created decades ago need to be revisited and adjusted in order for the programs to be at peak efficiency. Throwing more and more money into inefficient systems is foolish.

I know the typical reaction is to think if a Republican is looking at a social program they have a nefarious intent, this is not always true. It is possible to spend less and get better results - even Democrats should be open to this.

Dude, almost all of the people I see using them ever, in various places, are mothers...buying food for the kids.
I have yet to see otherwise.

And the money to fund it is a fraction of a fraction of the whole budget...so it shouldn't be about the money.

Elderly and disabled are supported by Social Security.

As I said, there are so MANY other things to focus on.
So MANY other things to tackle first.

And I don't see the Dems cooperating in any way with these efforts, if it is SO bad.
IF it was terrible, you'd see both sides tackling it...or debate on the floor.
It's a one sided thing.

SNAP is one of the most efficient and effective social safey net programs. It has the lowest fraud rate among any such programs. It has been "revisted and adjusted" on many occasions, including using e-card to limit fraud, encouraging healthier eating (hard for some living in "food deserts" where there is little available but convenience stores and fast foods) and making it easier to use at farmers markets. A family of four receives about $20/day and most families are on SNAP for just about one year.

This is nothing more thay typical Republican pandering.

Sen. James Inhofe offers proof that global warming is a hoax!

Sen. Jim Inhofe, who chairs the Environment and Public Works Committee, tossed a snowball on the Senate floor as part of a speech expressing skepticism about the reality of climate change. The Oklahoma Republican opened by showing pictures of an igloo his daughter's family built during a snowstorm five years ago, when he said "the hysteria on global warming" began.

Then Inhofe reached into a bag he had brought with him and pulled out a robust snowball.

"Do you know what this is? It's a snowball," he said to freshman Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., who being from Louisiana may not be familiar with snow. "It's just from outside here, so it's very very cold out... very unseasonable."

"Mr. President, Catch this," Inhofe said before tossing the snowball underhand. An Inhofe aide said it was caught by a page.

Nevada Republican says cancer is a fungus you can flush out with salt water

Nevada state Assemblywoman Michele Fiore (R) plans to introduce a bill she said would provide more options for cancer patients — but actually relies on what medical experts call a myth, Think Progress reported.
“If you have cancer, which I believe is a fungus, and we can put a pic line into your body and we’re flushing with, say, salt water, sodium cardonate through that line and flushing out the fungus,” Fiore said on her radio show over the weekend. “These are some procedures that are not FDA-approved in America that are very inexpensive, cost-effective.”
As Ralston Reports noted, Fiore likely meant to say “sodium bicarbonate,” commonly known as baking soda.
According to the American Cancer Society, (ACS) the argument that sodium bicarbonate can be used to flush cancer out of the body stems from “unsubstantiated treatments” by an Italian doctor, Tullio Simoncini. Simoncini’s license to practice medicine was revoked in 2003. Three years later, he was convicted of wrongful death and swindling.
“No peer-reviewed articles in medical journals were found to support the theory that cancer is caused by a fungus infection or a yeast infection. Available peer-reviewed medical journals do not support claims that sodium bicarbonate works as a cancer treatment in humans,” the ACS states on its website. “Scientists require certain kinds of evidence to support claims that a kind of germ causes a certain disease. The first requirement is that the germ should be present in all cases of the disease. Simoncini claims that all tumors contain fungi. But these fungi have not been found in tumors when biopsies are examined by methods capable of revealing fungi in infected tissue.”
Fiore said she is still “waiting for the language to come back” on the measure, which she calls the “terminally-ill bill.” She described it as a response to seeing Nevadans leave the U.S. for what she called “alternative treatments” after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
“This isn’t the death doctor bill,” she said, adding, “Nevada — it’s the capital of entertainment. Why not make it the medical capital of the world, too?”
The assemblywoman, who accused federal officials last year of “coming up” with the grazing fees that spurred their dispute with rancher Cliven Bundy, introduced another bill last week that would allow licensed gun owners to carry firearms on college campuses within the state, saying it would prevent “young, hot little girls on campus” from sexual assaults.

Because it seems like it was quiet for awhile,
then a series of very stupid things are said by several of those "types" (ex. rape, etc)
then they get them to quiet down again
then a surge happens again... (letters to Iran, Ted Cruz's father, etc...)
