I've got a headache and mandatory training...training I've already done for another school. Ugh.

 

I fucking hate floor upholstery.

 

You probably know it as "carpet."

 

I'm stuck in this cabin-fever phase of this bitch of a winter, and I'm still seeing people posting about their vacations on Facebook, including my cousin who's posting about going to the Caribbean for the second time since December.

I went on vacation to the Caribbean once, but it was late summer, so it's not quite the same thing.

 

BTW...I have a counter-argument for those who think that people are narcissistic on the web.

Yes, I'm going to talk about me.
And others are going to talk about themselves.

Who else are you going to talk about for the most part??
You only know you.
You can't talk for anyone else.

If you're talking about your family and friends...they are YOUR family & friends.
If you're talking about people you're working with or care about...they are ones YOU care about.

Just like your opinion on the narcissists on web...is YOUR opinion...and the topic YOU are complaining about.

The web in itself is a self-oriented environment.
It has no impact or interest other than yourself.

Reality is when you can say you're truly involved with others.

Remember, you got on...you found the place of interest, you found the topic of your interest...and you've decided to make a post about it.
So aren't you just as self-oriented as everyone else??

That's the funny thing about life...you're trapped with really only one point of reference.
Only what you can see, what you can absorb, what you can express, what you are interested in.

Even when you're helping others...it's those you want to help.

So, I'm going to stop worrying about it as much.
And those who think you're thinking about yourself are thinking about their perspective, not yours.

That's what I think.

Depends on how your mouth reacts to dental work. My mouth hates getting worked on, so I can usually anticipate a couple of weeks of headaches after a filling. My mouth took a month to feel right after a root canal.

 

I'm really peeved right now. My husband, frantically trying to get his chores done, decided to wash towels on hot (right choice) right before I needed to take a shower (wrong choice). Plus, I only wash my hair once a week, so my Sunday shower is a lot longer than other showers. Now, I'm half-rinsed because the shower went cold two minutes in, and I couldn't get all of the Nizoral out of my hair.
