I know it's been a long time for me, so maybe I might be a little hard up, but I'm sure my fellow members can back me up- that woman is scorching hot, and the gray is nothing more than the icing on the cake.

How do you get to spend so much time with Stanley? Is there a queue somewhere we can stand in for this?

Sure you can rock it with grey hair, but its more effort to. Personally I'd just dye it. One of the most attractive women I've been with turned COMPLETELY grey by 30. She looks about 15 years older with grey hair. Because shes completely grey shes gotta dye it very often, but its worth it to her.

How is dying hair less effort?
No thanks. I'll keep my strands of silver glitter.

Shrug, less effort to look your best since you don't have to deal with grey hair. Its not like dying ones hair is all that difficult if you have the cash. Time wise its less time than most women will take to put on their makeup over the course of a month.

I suppose its definitely more effort than just not doing anything, but if looking their didn't matter to the poster, they wouldn't have asked.

I guess someone was bound to pipe in with an alternative perspective. And I'm glad you feel comfortable doing so.

But I do see your words as disgusting and disturbing.

"not doing anything" is very different from having a well-manicured head of gray hair.

I love grey hair on women! Love Love Love Love it! Thankfully Seamaiden was going grey when we met and she loves her grey hair too. One of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen was in her mid-20's and totally grey. I don't mind admitting I've got a grey hair fetish.

This woman accidentally died her hair mostly grey. Which one looks substantially older? Grey hair is naturally associated with aging. Most people want to look younger or at least their age. My friend was grey by 30, and she looked 10* more attractive with dyed hair. I'm not sure why thinking such is disturbing or disgusting. Without pictures we can't say for sure for the OP, but for most people, unless you are obviously of an age where grey hair is the norm, you will look better with dyed hair and there is nothing wrong with pointing that out.

While that is a widely held opinion, it is just an opinion.

For me, I find far more women unattractive because they've fried their hair, dyed it some obviously unnatural-to-them color, or otherwise screwed up their dye job. I don't have the @Lucifer gray hair fetish, but I do not hold to "dying is always better" either.

Which is why the woman in the pictures looks older with blonde hair. The "gray" hair in the pics looks like a toner mishap.

It's apparently gotten to be popular among the young folks to dye their hair grey or white.

And for some people I think the grey just works for them.

This whole thing seems a little silly to me.

I think for whether a woman can or does look better with grey hair or dyed hair depends rather a lot on the woman in question.

I also think that hair colour is a pretty minor part of the overall picture, and not worth getting overly worked up about.

Wear it however makes you happy.

  14. Dying hair is definitely a lot more work if you don't want "roots" showing and inevitably all women have their roots showing at some time or another and I HATE that look. I have dyed my hair in the past and fortunately matched the color so close and I don't have enough gray for roots to show but I would rather it come in gray gradually than show roots and have to keep up with constant dying. My hair is naturally curly so it seems to blend more than if I had straight hair

Much of depends on the quality of the hair. Some people have really attractive silver hair, and others have dull gray hair.

There's a guy on the forum who no longer posts much, but he has great silver hair (I'm omitting his name to see who knows who I'm speaking of :D), and Emmylou Harris (her image is in a previous post) has nice silver hair. One of our friends is a very attractive 60yo woman who dies her hair; she would age herself considerably with natural gray hair.

But I completely agree with Martian. Hair color, like any physical attraction, is superficial.

We are all talking skeletons wrapped in meat. Of course its superficial but pretty much everything humanity does is superficial. Might as well do it well.

If I'm correctly understanding your post.....yes, there's nothing wrong making an effort to be attractive. But physical attributes aren't everything. A woman who looks likes a curvy supermodel might only be only interested in celebrity news (for me that conversation would be torture). A guy who's ripped and handsome might only be interested hanging out with his buddies watching sports (I've known a few guys who fit that description). And both of them might be really lousy in bed, or even worse have little or no libido.

I'm sure that there are many people who have found through trial & error that looks aren't everything. I knew a very average looking guy who had a very attractive girlfriend whom he married. She worked for a company that represented many athletes. She had her choice of "hunks," but chose the "average guy" because of the respect that he showed her (he never hit on her, he made normal conversation and actually listened to her) and his sense of humor.

  19. I can sort of understand how grey hair can be unattractive. My hair is straight and relatively smooth/straight. When I do have grey hairs, they're wirey and stick straight out. It looks unkempt when all the hair is like that. I don't think dying it would help though.
