New dresser which matches the bed. Also solid wood. Drawers are cedar lined.

I still have my Gerber from my military days that I carry on my hip daily. As I recall the options I had were $30, $45, or $60, and mine was the $45 model. Two of the three screwdriver blades have broken or damaged tips from using them to pry up heavy steel deck plates on the aircraft carrier nearly 20 years ago now.

Some of you may be aware that I went to the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular a few weeks ago. While I was there I went to two merchandise stands during intermission and tried to buy a copy of (the whoniverses)Van Goghs Exploding Tardis, only to find they'd already sold out. After the show I found one last merchandise stand outside & since I had nothing better to do I lined up. They were also sold out, but the chick agreed to sell me the one off the wall. It had multiple pin holes in it but I got it anyway to make up for all my time lining up.
When I got it back home, I took it to a framing joint and got them to cut off the white border with the pinholes & mount it under glass, the saleswoman even talked me into a frame.
    So here it is...
Vincent van Goghs lost painting, the Exploding Tardis

A bit expensive for a simple poster, but I'm happy with it.

We have one of these, and mostly I like it. But it seems at times like God, in that it works in mysterious ways.

I would love a copy of that to hang on my wall.

I have one and not enough room for it. If you ever make it to my neck of the woods or I to yours, you can have it.

It's beautiful and well worth the cost.

Just to be clear, I meant the poster. :) I didn't take into account that I already own three Lord of the Rings posters and a beautiful print of a painting of Hobbiton when I ordered more nerd posters. With my Sherlock and Naruto posters, that pretty much takes care of my wall space.

Nice. I get an employee discount at Nike, but so far I've only used it to buy a duffel bag.

I'm a Nike loyalist when it comes to any type of sneaker.

Growing up my parents couldn't afford to buy me Jordan's. Or maybe they were just smart enough to spend their money on more essential things. I always had nice shoes, usually Nikes, but not Jordan's. So when a few designs have been released that I think I can still get away with wearing as a respectable guy in his mid-30s, I've picked them up.

I did need new shoes to walk Stanley, and I wanted something I could wear this summer with shorts. I'm happy with them, and they were much less than typical Jordan's. :)

Having the employee discount is soooo awesome. We get a discount at the outlet malls too, so we get discount + any markdowns. We haven't made it to the employee store yet, but I'm told it's a paradise for sports shoe lovers. If I can get some discounted LunarGlides, I'll be happy.

I also buy a lot of Adidas for the same reasons--their N. American headquarters are in Portland.

I used to work down the street from the Nike headquarters. Most of my shoes now have "steel toe" somewhere in the description, but I should buy some new basketball type shoes because my work boots do clash with shorts when I can wear them.

Technically, this was purchased in Dec; but we just picked it up. It was an itty bit dirty when we got it home; but it cleaned up nicely.

No pictures of the inside until my interior designer gets done abusing my Visa card.

It's been a money spending year, it seems. I've been on a mission to recreate the sound of vinyl while keeping digital convenience. This is the most expensive piece of audio gear that I've ever purchased.

It's a Schiit Audio Yggdrasil DAC and pairs with my Ragnarok (which has the previous price record)

These things are absolute beasts, weighing in at 20+ lbs each.

I've been an audio snob for a long time; but this may be the nicest system I've ever lived with.
