Tonight CBS has a special celebrating the music of Stevie Wonder. Normally I don't much care for duets, or musical specials, esp since these days I don't follow popular music at all.


But this is Stevie Wonder.

Here's another one of his from the Blunderbuss album.

 

As expected, a mixed bag. Too little actual Stevie Wonder, and too many "recording artists" with seriously weak voices. Someone should've told Beyonce that this was a tribute to Stevie, not a Beyonce concert. The Band Perry did a totally lame-ass watered down version of You Haven't Done Nothing. Annie Lennox was a pleasant surprise (but not actually because she has some pipes).

 

I have been enjoying the new Marilyn Manson CD but really love this song!
