I swear @fangirl and I briefly talked about Black Box. But I can't find the reference now.

I've been watching it and am enjoying it. The main character is a neuroscientist who has hidden the fact that she suffers from Bipolar D/O. It has made for some interesting story lines of her struggles while helping others with theirs.

There are a few holes/gaps that irritate me, but as a whole it's sucked me in quite nicely.

    Anyone watch Blacklist and 24?
Unfortunately they are both on commercial tv, so I record and watch next day....
Waiting for Downton Abbey and Selfridge

True Detective's fir season takes place here on the Lake Charles area. I've talked to people that remember the original crimes and they said the show is really close. I'm gearing up for more Orphan Black and Hemlock Grove. I need to check out Black Box, I think. Sounds intriguing.

Gotham could be really good or suck horribly.
I'm hoping for good but we'll see.

    The Strain looks good.
I've read the books and everything I've seen of the series looks like they will be keeping the same tone.

The Will Wheaton Project has been awesome.

Finished Breaking Bad and Orange is the new Black - Excellent!
Looking for something new, started Justified and Dexter which is pretty good. I still can't get into zombie killing and don't see why this show is so popular :p - Might try Game of Thrones and Fargo.

My current "new show" is Dexter series 3 on netflix. Good storyline so far, will be interesting to see what develops during this slice of the show.

I watched part of the first episode of 24 a few weeks ago, the one that aired in 2001 or thereabouts (don't care to check). Never finished it and just as likely not to.

My normal pattern with watching television shows these days is that they aired at least 4-5 years ago if not more. Even better if the show was cancelled so I can get into a well written show and find out that Fox/NBC/etc axed it back in 2008 and left a massive cliffhanger so they could air something better like Survivor 85: watch us survive the mean beaches of an island inhabited for 4,000 years surrounded by catered food or something equally great.*

*I might sound just "a bit" cynical, radio shows from 1930-1960 have been higher on my list of entertainment for a good 20 years now (with exceptions like various incarnations of Star Trek) , and I have a much broader selection of those shows on hand to choose from covering every genre.

  9. The Knick. It's on Cinemax, Clive Owen is in it, it's only been about three or four episodes. It's really good! I recommend it to anyone.

The first two seasons of Continuum were good. I am on the fence with Season 3, so is the network as they have been dragging their feet on the re-order of series 3.

I'm personally pretty pumped about Better Call Saul (Breaking Bad spinoff), actually watching it right now...

I am hearing good things about Better Call Saul and can't wait to watch.

Marvel's Agent Carter has been pretty fun so far.

I really like Saul. I'm in love with Constantine, 12 Monkeys, and Marco Polo (Netflix original).

What show if any would you compare Marco Polo to?

I'm not sure... It's a little Game of Thrones, a little Vikings, and maybe a little Black Sails?

Words alone cannot express my love for Patrick Stewart. Unfortunately, I don't get Starz. I'm sure there will be other ways to enjoy this, though, and I look forward to it.

Oh, fark! I misread the thread title as News Shows...

I watch hardly any TV. A new show can come and go before I notice...

    I'll bow out now.:)
