    The last day for legitimate day drinking until Memorial Day, and I can't drink because of all the drugs I'm on right now. Can't drive, either, for that matter. Hopefully they work and I feel much better for work tomorrow--that's how every other weekend has gone, so there is a silver lining.

    So there was an update to ITunes a couple of days ago which I dutifully downloaded.
    Now there is a constant hiss and popping in all the song.
    After carefully going over the cord to my headphone, my sound card, the drive, etc. etc. the inescapable fact is that ITunes is fucked.

    So I've downloaded VLC media player and that's what I'm going to use for listening to music.
    If I need to sync my Ipod, fine.
    Otherwise, screw ITunes.

    It's not even 9am.
    Washing machine is on crack, dishwasher has needed emptying for two days, I have cramps a week early, my head hurts, they were out of almond milk at the coffee place, it's sprinkling, client parents are sending passive-aggressive emails, and I hate the world today.
