My kitchen is kind of a wreck from croquembouche assembly yesterday but I am completely unmotivated.

Over an hour in the Hallmark store to buy five items?

    Seriously?

We both had the same day. It's not up to me to cook dinner.

I'm going skip the boxing on the Spanish language channels, and go to bed. You can deal with letting the dogs out and back in.

I am not going to be bullied or guilted into doing something I don't want to or even really need to do for any particular reason. I have anxiety issues, I don't sleep well already, and I have 9 psych reports to work on. I'm not going to stay over at our friends' house when I can easily drive home and meet up at brunch at noon. As fun as that would be if I'd planned on it; not being planned, I'd be a bigger ball of nerves than I already am. At least now I can sleep in my tempurpedic, take a shower in the morning, wear clean clothes, and work on reports when I wake up at 5 am. Albeit alone. Sucks in some respects. Luckily, my friends understand, though the hubs may not. He'll sleep hard and wake up at 11 to make it to brunch. We'll see what I have to hear about it.

Goddammit, my husband decided to pack up his laptop and move into the office again with his stuff because he's gotten into playing this game (Planetside) with friends.

Now I can't stream anime and play WoW at the same time. :(

Holy crap Bronchitis sucks. I can't breathe or smell or taste. And on top of that I have to cater to a whining pitiful husband with a cold. Blah.

A friend of mine posted skiing pics this morning since it finally really snowed this weekend. I'm so jealous. I wish I were skiing. I finally have health insurance (a must, especially for backcountry) and a vehicle that will get me there, but no time. *sob*

    I'm over it.
Not bad and it's getting better...just worn down. *ugh*

Maybe a month of sleep...will get the fog out my head.
Maybe a week of sex...will get the smile back on my face.

But, neither will happen...so, we keep on keeping on.
    Too much reality.

Is it weird that I have that smell imprinted in my memory and knew immediately what you meant? The smell of cowshit and dairy barn is powerful. Takes me back to my childhood home (not a dairy farm, just dairy country).

And yet, I know as an adult...you better watch out, you might get what you wished for.

    Meh.
Nah...don't wanna do that either...

Well, at least thanks much TFP, for giving me a place to put down my bullshit thoughts.
At least I'm using my fingers to type words.

I got a very disturbing e-mail from one of my co-advisors about the tables that he signed off on months ago, calling into question all of the statistics for this project and therefore the conclusions. Who delivers this kind of news to their student on New Year's day? Especially when the response to the last version was "It's almost ready to be submitted, the next version will be the last!"
