If I'm ever have the honor of being dinner guest in your home, I can make the following promises (at least at the time of this post):

1. Stanley will remain safely in your hands. We have five dogs, and actually need to find good homes for two of them. But some rib rubbing for Stanley will most likely occur.
2. I will attempt to control my eating (please note the word attempt).
3. I will not drink any of your booze, good or otherwise.
4. Any looks at your wife will be discreet and of a gentlemanly nature.

It sure as hell wasn't me!

 

I have to reboot the computer into Windows to access Lightroom and possibly Photoshop; haven't used or missed that side of the laptop for almost two days. Ugh. Still not setting up said programs in WINE on Ubuntu.

 

Memo to colleague: You know that you're supposed to come to work and do work, right?
That is why they give you the check for wrinkly green stuff you can spend at the end of the month.

 

I have a dream of having an actual vacation next year. Haven't had the time or money to take one for some time now.
Taking a trip down to California again to see this Highway 101 and Big Sur would be a wonderful place for my cameras and to expand my portfolio.

 

I love being in the office when no one else is. I get to sit in my chair and pretend I'm important.

 

Coming back after 10 days of uncertainty, it's pretty easy to see why they brought me back. No one else is here, nothing got done in my absence, and absolutely every important decision or action waited until I returned.

I really don't want to be important; been there, done that, don't need the stress.

 

I always wanted to ask my pyscho bitch boss, "So who was supposed to be working my files while I was out? Do you have any idea how long it's going to take me catch up on the work that wasn't done? Somebody could've at least done the easy research......if you had displayed the backbone to make sure sure they did it."
