Lock him in a room with a TV and netflix, shuttle him occasional food, and leave him to suffer in isolation.

I'm the opposite. When I'm sick I'll ask for help only when I need it, otherwise it's "Leave me alone."

It's been my observation that there is nothing worse, in the world, than when a woman is sick. The same woman that whines for two weeks with a 'flu' is also the one that can't stand you when you are throwing up, with a fever of 103. (not saying that necessarily applies to you lovely ladies)

I usually could give a crap if I'm sick. I do take time off of work, but I do that when I feel especially good, too.

The government just announced a multi-billion-dollar tax break. I don't qualify.

One of my PoliSci profs used to refer to the Raygun tax cuts as "welfare for the wealthy."

High income families with more children will get the most benefits. Poor single parents will get the least. Child-free people get nothing.

This is a re-election scheme by the Conservative Party.

So the political policies in Canada aren't that different from the ones in the US, eh.

And dammit, I still have "Fxxk Boyz Get Money" stuck in my head--this is all @Poetry's fault, by the way.

There are some similarities. But don't get me wrong. The politics of Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper are somewhat similar to Obama's. Generally, many Democrats have similar politics as many Conservatives.

What you're used to is, essentially, a single-party system with two right-wing factions. (As much as Americans like to complain about right/left divides, left politics in America are rather marginalized. You have, basically, Noam Chomsky and Bernie Sanders, but who listens to those guys?)

Here, there are at least centrist and centre-left alternatives—to varying effective/ineffective degrees, but they're there.

I just ate a piece of Pizza Hut pizza. I may die. It was a desperation situation.
At least it was thin crust.

I found a cold. Trapped it in my sinuses. And I'm working overnight this weekend. Yaaay.

While L'Oreal Elnett is an amazing hairspray, I hate the smell.

Yes, I used to hate that when I did 24/7 as a tech, or evening shift at the hospital (12 hr shift 7-7)
And on the other side, if you get paid per hour...you lose a hour of pay.

This novel is over 400 pages and there are so many adjectives. I can't imagine how long it would be if it were written more evocatively.
