Having worked for several years in the condom industry, I can tell you that the average penis is 5.8", and the average vagina can accomodate an 8.5" penis when aroused.

This means that in the average city on a friday night there are several miles of unused vagina.

 

Just curious, what are the sources of your info? As has been discussed in this thread, and many times before, even serious researchers have a difficult time getting real numbers. Guys exaggerate, and measurements can be manipulated. And guys on the smaller side tend to avoid providing any info.

I don't have a link currently but about a year ago I read a article on this. Apparently the average penis size is actually 5.5 inches, and the 6 inches was due to "self reported" surveys by condom companies. If anyone would need to know the right size for condoms, its the guys making them. I can sort of tell when the change was since in college normal condoms fit me fine, but now a normal condom fits way to tightly. I'm guessing they also got new data on girth.

In our swinging, this has generally held true as well.

 

The reported size can be manipulated by how it's measured. Taking a measurement laying on your back can make your penis "longer." Pushing the ruler into the flesh of your pelvis. Rounding up. Only using measurements from the occassional "OMG!" erections, not the normal erections. Basically the findings of any study relying on measurements provided by the participants could be suspect. And I would suspect that if a study made it known their people would be taking the measurements guys on the smaller side would be hesitant to participate.

I'm going to guess--pure speculation--that guys on the smaller size are also less inclined to be swingers.

 

In our experience its not the case. In fact we have only run into one "monster cock" in swinging, about 8". I'm 6" with just under a 6" girth and I've been bigger than average. Swingers are very "average" folk in general. Perhaps at the smaller ends their might be less, but I've seen a few that were sub 4".

As far as I can tell, or at least it didn't stop them. There is one guy we've seen on a few swinger vacations that have nude sunbathing areas that we have never even SEEN his penis and hes been nude the whole time. Its a turtle in there somewhere and can't be more than 3 hard. Seems a pretty happy guy. Its really less of an issue than a lot of people imagine.
