Do you know how hard it is to balance a bunch of severed heads on a handtruck? But this can turn into a platform as well.

The key is using the right tool for what you are transporting, and making sure a tourist doesn't grab the wrong bag.

The leatherman was a gift but local customs dictate that knifes can be given so I paid $.50

The Wave is a nice multitool. Leatherman makes great stuff, right here in Oregon! I have a Kick, and my husband has the predecessor to the Wave (it belonged to his grandfather). I've been meaning to go on the factory tour sometime.

Last month I lost a Leatherman SuperTool that I got in 1996. I still have a Leatherman Micra that I got in 1995-1998.

Call it retail therapy to help me cope with the incessant drilling and jackhammering going on outside the building and reverberating throughout its walls, slowly pushing me to the brink of insanity.

    Heaven help me.

Not exactly sexy; but the technology is pretty cool. I hope like hell it meets my wife's needs. It's the smallest, lightest, and most expensive device available.

I tried a pack a little over a year ago for my SX-70 Sonar One Step (one of my best Goodwill finds) and wasn't all that impressed. I'll probably try it again soon since they're constantly improving it. It's so expensive, though :(

I find Polaroid cameras at the thrift stores, reslae shops, etc., and some of them appear to be professional models--large, all metal, with features that you don't find on the cameras that were sold at K-Mart. They are getting rarer, my guess is they're now collectable. I always passed on them because of the lack of films, and not knowing they still functioned properly.

That is a stock pic. It is a desktop replacement for home/personal use, so I went big. If I need better portability I have a work laptop or my iPad. This is the first laptop I've had with a touch screen, the versatility of that is pretty sweet. It is a beast compared to my 4yr old work laptop.

    Inspiron 17 7000 laptop.
    4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4510U processor (4M Cache, up to 3.1 GHz)
    NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 750M 2GB DDR5
    1TB 5400 rpm Hybrid Drive
    16GB Dual Channel DDR3L 1600MHz (8GBx2)
    4th Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U processor (4M Cache, up to 3.1 GHz)
17.3 inch LED Backlit Touch Display with Truelife and FHD resolution (1920 x 1080)

    Snazzy @Borla.
Funny, when I first came on TFP that would have seemed like something out of a science fiction story that a hacker was using.
    Now it's the average.

Yeah, it is crazy the things we take for granted, and how quickly we do so. I have so many apps that are sync'd across various devices, rarely don't see an email in under 10-15 minutes during waking hours, have a few thousand songs available at any moment, hundreds of pics, etc. It wasn't that long ago that it was pretty cool someone had a cell phone.

$40 for Florsheim cap toe oxfords with leather soles. They'll work their way into the rotation.
