The Complaining and Bitching Thread

Naruto is wrapping up its current arc and possibly coming to an end. One of my favorite characters died, and it was really underwhelming. I'm so disappointed.

 

My phone's SIM card crapped out. I'm waiting on a new one, but in the meantime, my phone only works on Wifi, so no calls, texts, or mobile data. It's like a pocket tablet?

The not being able to call/text thing is really annoying me right now as my husband and I have somewhere to be at 5:30 and he still isn't home.

 

Can't catch a break...

 

I guess Facebook permits certain hate groups.

 

If it is a bank, perhaps they have good enough camera coverage to find out who did it?

 

Ugh, slept like shit last night, phone doesn't work, wine club shipment is going to the wrong address even though my husband and I have repeatedly tried to get ahold of the winery (thankfully, I have UPS MyChoice, so I should be able to get it changed after a failure for a small fee) via email (failure on their end) and phone (repeated voicemails). I understand it's harvest, but still.

 

The downside to cultural diversity: We used to get good comprehensive instructions in one language. Now we get sketchy instructions in six languages.

 

Actually, that's not at all how it works. In fact, study of foreign language makes students stronger grammarians, as they have to learn the parts of speech, the structure of a sentence (both in the new language and the old), and how to conjugate a verb. The major problem is that grammar is boring, and it is the first thing that gets cut in the face of testing. Plus, many of the studies I looked at for my master's thesis suggested that having students spend time actually writing has a better payoff in terms of instruction (for writing and grammar) than just strictly teaching grammar.

I wouldn't dispute anything that you are saying about grammar. I must recognize the importance, because I still remember nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, instrumental, and prepositional from taking a semester of Russian twenty years ago.

But I wasn't talking about language instruction. I was talking about the instructions included in the box for putting together a weed whacker.

 

Strangely, I'm not sad so much...but I'm ANGRY.
Pissed...and I'm just clinching my fists...and I want to just beat the shit of some inanimate object with my bare hands.

You know...things are not "bad" logistically or financially.

But considering my personal losses of the last couple of years...with this recent one just added.
This is just "insulting" or "unjustified" or "unfair"...all of which in a rational, atheist context is just pure luck and bad timing or poor calls from others.

I'm raging inside.
I want to scream...but even a primal scream into a discrete pillow or washcloth doesn't do it...it just wears out and stresses my vocal cords.

Perhaps finding a good gym and taking out on a punching bag will do it.
But right now, if I could "Hulk" or "Go Conan" I would.
Fuck living civilized (at this time)

If I could smack on an mythical Angel, I would.

And yes, I know intellectually, it happens to everyone, everywhere, through-out a multitude of life and millenia.
How dare you do this to me! How dare you do this to such a beautiful & brilliant being!!!
