Horndog activity gets a person fired in your shop?

I suppose it was horndog activity with inappropriate partners, such as workplace subordinates, or customers, or clients, or patients, or suppliers, or debtors, or witnesses, or competitors, or government regulators, or the news media?

Our tickets have Mannion all over them...I'd rather have that.

Saw the "You must be born before this date to buy tobacco" sign in a gas station today, and the year was 1996. My first thought was "How the hell has it been 18 years already?"

And now to show my relative youth, using a manual typewriter is definitely an adjustment and a new experience for me. I shall definitely be using this.
On that note, I found a shop in Couer D'lane (not fixing that spelling or looking it up) that develops and scans film in 2-3 days at most counting the time it will take to mail the film roll up there. They also scan the 35mm negatives into what corresponds to a 70 megapixel image for a very reasonable rate. I picked up a roll of T-max and Portra 160 while I was up there to make my camera useful again.

  9. Why I love Dream Cruise week: it's Thursday and I get calls for a fuel pump for a 1961 Oldsmobile, wheel cylinders for a 1953 Cadillac and a shift cable for a 1963 Plymouth Savoy. "I can have them by next Wednesday." "But I need to have the car ready for Saturday!"

Coeur d'Alene. ;) We used to go there for the car show every summer when we were in Spokane on family vacation (aka Dad's annual conference).

Ahh, paycheck issue resolved. Time to go shopping.

Team building exercise with the office today. I am en route to Universal Studios.

Hopefully this helps me feel more like I am part of a team. I tend to feel a little isolated from the rest of the office.

Damn French words around here trip me up. I am fine with easy words like Champoeg, Willamette, and the like that are common in my home area but this area has a few like that one that always require a google search for me to get it right.
Which brought to mind one of my personal pet peeves with pronunciation - hearing people mispronounce Oregon badly. This facebook page I found via a google search puts it nicely. That is one of the fastest ways I know to just scream that you are not from the state or not been living there very long. Bud Collyer did a prime example in a 1940/41 Superman broadcast (right around there, not looking up the specific date right now in my collection) where he said "Ore-a-gone" which made me wince.

The first feature on this VHS copy of The Pagemaster is a behind the scenes peek at the upcoming first Mighty Morphing Power Rangers movie. It was voiced by Don Fontaine of course. Even better there are video games available for the film characters in Sega Genesis and Nintendo NES! Personally the games sound more interesting than trying to not laugh or mock a Power Rangers movie.
Ooh, the film has both Captain Picard (Ambassador now if you want to get technical) and Spock in it.

Excited for this weekend. I get to see one of my closest friends! He lives in another part of the state, so I only get to see him a couple times a year.
