    Ah, I hate this. I had to get my sons moving and helping with some chores, finally I had to lose my temper and nagnagnag, which I really don't like to do.

    But I finally got some action in their lazy butts and now we are all sorting all kinds of stuff for recycling in the living room and watching tv at the same time. I don't mind the slow pace, at least something is getting done!

    Hubby has been taking the garbage bags to their correct places.

    Is/was your salad already dressed?
    Whenever I've tried saving an already dressed salad overnight, my lettuce was always wilted the next day.
    Is there a way to do it with out wilting?

    Not really... my salads are usually lower in leaves and higher in more robust veggies so it works alright to save it overnight, but no magical tricks to keepin' it crisp.

    Just sat down at the coffee house at my favorite booth, I look down, and notice some small graffiti on the table...It says "wat's up CJ's dad!!!" Totally made my day! Seriously, the first time I think I smiled today! My teenage son's friends rock (how many parents can say that?)!

    We had a really great evening training for a fundraising dinner next Saturday. We're raising money to promote local, sustainable food via education and community gardens. It's going to be a great event!
