Pointless Announcements

I hate it when not 1, but 2, enchantments on your +5 Arcane sword dissipate while hacking through the chitinous hide and +6 fiery aura of an infernal behemoth.

 

Last week, my boss told me that by order of the campus director, I am officially the assistant head of our department and will act as the department head when he's out. Today, he's packing for his vacation and I made several decisions regarding situations that arose first thing in the morning that I would normally run by him. I had complete confidence in what I was doing and everything worked out flawlessly.

When I mentioned to my brother that I'm now the "assistant head" of the department, he looked at me, nodded, and said "Congratulations Ass Head."

 

I get irritated whenever I read that people are so excited they can't "breath." Ugh. I really need to get past this. It's pointless.

 

I snort every time I read this.

I still think his films run the gamut from bad-worse-Star Trek reboot (T.V. shows are good at least production and writing wise from what I have seen), but my respect for J.J. Abrams just went up loads.

This is referring specifically to the Cinema film they make, but seeing that shut down would be disturbing. Thankfully the SLR camera film does not need this kind of major hollywood help, Kodak film is some of my favourite to use.

My wife, daughter, and mom are in myrtle beach for a few days and I'm at home working

 

I'll be at Myrtle Beach in a couple weeks. One of my favorite places to flop.

 

I've never been there but they seem to be having fun
