    You know, while some people eat wonder bread during their formative years, I listened to Johnny Winter. Maybe some could play better, but no one could make it look easier.
    Or make it sound grittier, or bluesier.
    I stood on the rail once, close enough to touch him, and those riffs to him it seemed as simple as you or I brushing our teeth.

    Everybody knows this song.

    However, I didn't know that this was an actual experience of one of the songwriters.

    And life imitates art. The bar where it happened -- a biker hangout called The Pastime Bar, in Jacksonville FL -- has been renamed "The Jug", like the one in the song.
