    How do they taste?
    Crunchy.
Well, okay, but how do they taste?
    Crun-chy.
I get that they're crunchy, but seriously, what do they taste like?
They don't taste like anything! Okay?!? They're weird and they're crunchy FOR NO FREAKING REASON!!!!

Do you live in Williamsburg or Portland? No? Then forget whatever you know. They're all copying the original. I'd argue Williamsburg is just trying to imitate Portland chic.

I can't understand management that doesn't acknowledge or leverage the talent in front of their faces.
They let them go ...then they figure it out, but it's too late.

And I'm not talking about me...I'm talking about many other very skilled and talented people I know or have known.
Excellent workers, diligent, sacrifice, caring, creative, etc...

The kind that it takes multiple people to replace them when gone.
The kind that when they go...the shit hits the fan...and the bad guys are found out.
The kind that they have to spend TONS of money to cover what they were holding down or back.

Why are our managers and execs unaware??
Why does management often blame them for being "annoying" or not "with the team" or "not communicating"...when they truly are??
Why do they put them into very poor situations...until they break or say "forget this".
Why do they not give them the resources needed??
Or follow what they say...when they are the ones in the middle of the situation and solving it??
    Or, or, or...

This is not just "toxic" bosses, but even normal ones...but it happens much more often than you'd think.
The diamond in the rough is sparkling right in front of you...but you pass it by.

I'm sorry you haven't caught up with our trends yet.

Portland will never be over because Portland doesn't give a shit. Keep Portland weird!

I can't understand how people can live on credit cards. Without the possibility of being free one day.

Speaking of being free, I enjoy being child-free and don't judge people either way.
I'm definitely more self-centered than some people with children, but I know plenty of parents who aren't centered on their children enough.

I don't understand those who feel the need to press their religious beliefs on others. Sharing is fine, it's even interesting sometimes. But not pushing.

I also don't understand how people can live for the moment without looking to the future. For me, that's just terrifying.

    And water chestnuts, too. Yuck.

I don't understand people who spend their lives learning facts to spout off and impress people, but never spend the time to learn what they're actually talking about. We have a friend who tries to pull all kinds of psychological theory on my husband when I'm not around (he has a bachelors from 25 years ago in psych). Funny how he shuts up when I'm sitting there. Remembering is NOT comprehending.

Also, satin booty shorts at the grocery store on rather large, round derrieres... With ratty tshirts. Think Sir Mix-A-Lot video at Planet Fatness.
It just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't understand people who can justify making ungodly amounts of money at the expense of people who are trying to survive.
How can someone decide they need a 600 million dollar salary and benefits than initiate a program to make sure your thousands of employees don't get enough hours to qualify for health insurance?
    I just don't understand.

I can't understand people who don't like being outdoors. For me, it doesn't really matter if I'm by the ocean, in the forest, on a mountain, by a lake, or in the high desert--I am just happy to be outside. I came home with 20-something mosquito bites despite applying DEET, and I still love being outside.

Generally I prefer this "outside" in the early morning or late evening range. That midday sun is way too bright in the summer and quite frequently too harsh for photography.

Being outside is one of the reasons I rented the house I have now. It came with a yard. I like to sit in my yard in the evenings and mornings.

I don't understand how citizens can not be aware of politician's abuses and neglect,
    and not make them accountable.

When I vote you in, you're in there to work for us...not play games or hide behind smokescreens.
I'd get fired for not doing my job...or constantly BS'ing about not doing work. (and the ploys are obvious)

So how can they keep tapdancing and get away with it???

Sure, at times it's the best of evils,
but still, come on...there are alternatives.

Why people feel the need to drive right up my tailpipe before passing me on an otherwise empty highway. I know you could tell at least a half-mile back that you were overtaking me, jackwagon.
