My first attempt at chicken curry with broccoli. It was ok. Will tweak more next time. No pics. I was too hungry and forgot (it wasn't very pretty anyway.)

It's not exactly for dinner tonight (unless it's a second dinner), but two garlic lime pork tenderloins are in the oven.

This pretty much means a crapload of back bacon sandwiches.

I have no idea what's for dinner tonight. We'll find out while we're out exploring.

I had a Slawdog Millionaire, sweet potato fries, and a Strawberry Abita. Housemade smoked sausage, slaw, sheep's milk feta, and barbecue sauce. No bun.

Last night was pinto beans ala Chris. Flavored with ham bone, which didn't have the usual amount of fatty gristle 'meat' because the ham it came from was realy nice, onions, garlic, cumin, white pepper, & salt. The pork chops I was going to cook to go with the beans will be tonight's dinner.

Farmer's market cucumber and tiny heirloom tomatoes salad with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette, baked chicken with homemade pesto and possibly some white sweet potato oven fries if I'm feeling hungry and ambitious.

    It's a Solstice Celebration.
There is fresh made smoked salmon, three kinds of pickled herring, a raspberry and wild flower salad, and a lingonberry torte with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Of course you can't have pickled herring without schnapps and smoked salmon without a nice pilsner.

    Grass-fed veal barbacoa.
    My face is on fire.
Fewer peppers next time for sure.
And that goodness I picked up an avocado, or I'd have spontaneously combusted.
Good grief, is this stuff amazing.

    My younger pup's birthday.

So in celebration, we are having a Meatza Pizza.
She'll get a generous share...and so will her sister.

  17. I made pasta with bacon and asparagus. Used some wine to deglaze the pan. It was good, but needed a little something. Next time I'm going to have to add some heat, I think.

Meatzas are awesome! If you're talking about the kind with the meat crust :)

Nah, just a good tasty pizza with every meat you can put on there...and extra cheese.
    Off my current eating habits,
but they're worth every carb. :D

We didn't get to make the tofu parm subs yesterday, as we ended up going out, so tonight it is.
