Long day today preparing for two (not one, but two) meetings with the FDA tomorrow.
Guess who's leading both meetings?

Story of my life, being a career IT and all. Dell computers with their plastic cases don't do so well on filthy industrial warships with random electrical fluctuations and bursts of salty seawater from the sides of the ship wafting in onto them on a regular basis.

It needs to be over.
Among the many things that stressed me out was Albertson's over charging me for almond flour by $9, then the door sensor not recognizing me to let me out.
Finding my cat alternately flushing the toilet and playing in the running water.
Cancelling a training to cover for someone else, at the request of a study coordinator, then not being able to do appts next week because of not having that recert, then having to come in during my time allotted to work on dissertation to do the recert. Everyone is fighting over my time... and now I have to "interview" and "apply" for the same job I've been doing for awhile for one of my supervisors.
My massage got cancelled because my MT had a family crisis... but she trades bottles of wine for massage, acupressure, and healing stone work. I'll wait.
But, I tweaked my back and right IT band in yoga last night.

Apparently, there's a full moon, mercury in retrograde, and some other fucked up thing... the sun shining up someone's anus or something.
The fuck is wrong with this week? I'm overwhelmed with bitchy and just needed to get this out... sorry, y'all.

Oh hell, yes. I was NOT paying $11.99+14% sales tax for a $3.60 bag of almond flour. Harrrumph.
The flushing cat is hella annoying. This was only 20 minutes after I almost peed on his head because he's freaking nosey.
I'm starting to think I need a cat-nanny to keep them entertained when I'm at work so I don't have to put up with that shit when I get home.

 

Here's the deal. I think I must have eaten some foul while I was in Jakarta. Since getting back, and all this week on the road, I have had the runs. No amount of immodium will stem the flow (and now I am out of them). It's been a week.

This sucks.

Downtown one day a woman driving an armored truck nearly hit me twice in the space two minutes and about six blocks. Fortunately for her the truck was completely unmarked (at least the parts that I could see) and I didn't have time to stop and confront her.

 

First period in over a year. It's quite lovely. fucking god damn shit.
