Speaking of Benefit, this little baby lives in my car, while the full size lives in my bathroom.

I love that shit. Best stuff ever. I cried when my first bottle broke. I managed to save some of the precious, precious liquid for years until I was able to buy a new bottle.

Nope. Mine rarely, if ever, match. Toes are a bright pink right now. Fingers well only one is painted (hey, I'm doing research here!) and it's a coral color.

I'm usually a little more daring with toe color than nail color. I've got some neons from Scotch that I'll probably give a whirl sooner or later.

Sometimes, but it's rare. I change my mani every 3-4 days. My pedi, not so frequently.

By the way, I love OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? Great colour! :)

My aunt showed up to a family function wearing it, and I had to have it! Even my husband thinks it's okay because it's orange.

Normally for me orange is a no go, since I'm cool toned, but that orange is absolutely fabulous!

With my coloring, orange is perfect. I'm warm, pale, with dark hair. It makes me look less pale than red, and it doesn't make me look sallow, like yellow. It doesn't hurt that for me it is a color with special significance. It is both the color of my alma mater and the country my family is from. Why the Dutch wear orange | DutchAmsterdam.com

A lesson from yesterday on waxing the upper lip: Hard wax is incredible! Prior to this, I'd struggled with the wax strips, using soft wax, and sugaring my upper lip in order to get my mustache off. The problem is, all of those options stick to the skin there. I have a premature wrinkle on one side from ripping off a layer of skin in that spot :( After some research, I decided to try hard wax. While the first time a month or so ago didn't go as well as I'd hoped, watching some tutorials on YouTube helped me figure out how to do a better job the second time. The beauty of hard wax is that you can go over a spot twice, since the wax doesn't adhere to the skin, only the hair.

Now my upper lip is perfectly hairless, and I am a convert.

    Speaking of waxing...

I had my underarms waxed yesterday and the left is so painfully irritated today. Sad face.

For DIY waxing, Bliss makes a great product called Poetic Waxing. It's amazing. I don't use anything else at home. It's a little pricey, but it lasts forever if you're just using it for facial waxing. Of course, you can also use it for legs and such, but I don't.

The Stila Stay All Day eyeliner is awesome! No smearing or smudging. I'm a convert.

Playing with glitter nail polish has made me decide I need MOAR glitter in my life! And I don't care if I'm too old for glitter.

I'm on Day 3 hair and am loving the Tigi Catwalk Series Dry Shampoo. It's Fab.

I don't think I'll push it one more day though. But I totally could.

How often do you normally wash your hair?

I only wash once a week and use the Serge Normant dry conditioner in between, as I have coarse hair and want to minimize my exposure to heat styling.

I go as long as I can. I can't go more than 4 days without feeling dirty. I hate hate hate washing/styling my hair. And it usually looks better on day 2/3. Win win!

You guys are so lucky. I have to wash mine every 36 hours or so. :( I have fine, limp hair with a scalp that tends towards oily, but sensitive. I've yet to find a product that conditions enough bit doesn't make it stick to my head or in clumps. But, I am lucky in that I dry my hair in the car with the heater running and don't have to use any heat or styling products for it to look nice. Or, nice enough. I'd welcome tips from people with hair that has zero body and are trying to cope with humidity.

My hair is very fine, limp and oily without dry shampoo. I used to have to wash my hair every 24hrs. Dry shampoo has been a life saver. Have you ever tried it?
