Yes, she IS his girlfriend in real life (in her 20's)
...yes, he is a very rich fashion designer. (Roberto Cavalli - 73)

And YES, she "may" be into his charm & personality...and he into her intelligence & wit,
but it AIN'T likely just that. ;)

Isn't it clear? She's totally into him for his looks and his physique. You know, the same way Hugh Hefner attracks all those hot young women.

I don't know what is the better finishing touch...the saggy balls in the speedos...or the very large patch on the knee.
Either way, it's just oozes "image" and "sophistication".

Or maybe it's the matching leopard print...

I mean, I'm sure I don't look much better in a speedo, but at least I don't have silver spluge (cause really, what else is that?!) splattered on my chest, or some sort of Alien-esque chest-burster situation going on...

LOL! I think that's sunscreen but I prefer to think of it as a chest-burster. :D

Turns out my hubs has a treasure trove of records he has been hiding all these years. It's not a big collection, but there are some fun records in there. Too bad we don't have a record player. I decided that we'll keep the records and get a record player.

I just want to listen to them. I don't necessarily want to rip them to digital. We'll get a real sound system at some point.

My little brother makes money buying old stereo equipment, getting it fixed up and selling it on Ebay.
It's the kind of stuff that used to be for the hardcore audiophile and you can find some great gear for reasonable prices.

Crosleys are probably one of the better all-in-one units but that's not saying much. They're cheaply made and a lot of them don't have proper counterweights, meaning you can't balance the tonearm properly and they'll trash your records. They're also overpriced for what they are.

Want to listen to records for cheap? First, go find a used turntable. Dual, Pro-ject, JVC, Stanton, Technics, there are tons of different brands. You want one for less than $100. It should have some weight to it, the platter (the part the record spins on) should be something other than plastic, and it should have a counterweight on the back of the tonearm (looks like a little cylindrical doohickey). Combine that with speakers like these, one of these guys, and also one of these. Turntable -> preamp -> amplifier -> speakers. Bam. You've got a setup that will sound worlds better than a Crosley, fit nearly anywhere, and costs about the same money. Bonus, it won't kill records played on it.

I'm no audiophile. You don't need gold-tipped oxygen-infused vacuum-coated bullshit wires. Just, y'know, buy stuff that isn't shit.

I too have a bunch of old LP's, and a turntable no stereo hookup, we listen to SIRIUS in the house.
I wouldn't mind making CD's out of the records, but thru a computer? How does that work, my CHROMEBOOK does not have a "slot"
