    Holy fecking storm!
The windows look like they're breathing up here on the 16th floor. It's making windchimes move. It was so dark a bit ago, you had to turn off the lights to see outside.

There is hail and possibly sleet on the backside of this storm, I hear.
Fuck you, Louisiana. And Texas, too. It was so gorgeous this weekend.

You don't understand. Things are just beginning to turn green.

    It's going to snow.

Here it was nice for just long enough to bait one into thinking words like "spring" without the bile that so often accompanies it.
Then the wind came. Then it kept coming. More and more of it.

Meanwhile, I am trying to finish writing something that cannot be more than 2 pages long. It is one line too long. I edited and edited and edited. It is still one line too long. I made some pissy meta-comments and went for a drive. I came back and edited and edited and edited. It is still one line too long. Maybe this is the way of things and there's nothing I can do about it.

It's done that here. Snowed on St. Patrick's Day a couple years ago.

A few years ago (six?) it snowed during Spring Break!

It hardly ever snows here, so those late snows are pretty memorable.

I am really glad there are 14 pounds of Fausto on my feet, for once. My toes are cold.

I absolutely "need" some more film and this area just sells Kodak T-Max rather than Tri-X. Of course it is cheaper online by far, but still might try T-Max in any event and pay the local markup. The "....now the sharpest 400-speed black-and-white film in the world, in addition to being the finest-grained." (via Kodak website) has given me reason to not try it yet, compared to the grain that gives Tri-X that distinct look.

In other news, taxes are filed as of yesterday.
Just missing that minor detail of being able to pay them but oh well....
