Someone knocked an entire, opened can of coconut milk onto the floor and proceeded to play in it.
    Someone also got a B-A-T-H.

My neighbour's cat decided to hang out in my house last night. He also decided to get into a fight with my cat.

So much for a good night's sleep.

How many times have I told you not to play with your food, @noodle?
...I guess that would be zero. My bad.

I tried to get up 30 minutes ago.
I am officially the victim of a catpile. 30 pounds of purr babies on my chest and stomach. They loves me.
Plus, I didn't put the heat on last night.

You are like my wife. She falls for that too and thinks the cat loves her for more than the warmth and food. ;)

I had a similar problem getting out of bed, minus the animals. Two days of rain have given me an excuse to be lazy today.

My aunt posted a pic on FB of her pork chops cooking on the stove, and that got me to thinking of the meals I used to eat at my late, great-grandmother's.
I remember fondly her cornbread and large white beans, among other dishes.

    I haz a semi-sad.

I had/have a chance to play the 1st Civilization game on Xbox Live for free. Have you played that one? If so, is it any good?

I get those kind of flashbacks from time to time. You never know what will trigger them. She must have been a wonderful lady.

I've been playing Civilization since the first. ( 1991, Oi Vey ) So, yes...it is addictive too.
Civ II is the most so.
Civ III, I didn't like as much...wasn't balanced.
Civ IV corrected the issues and was excellent...BTS was even better.
Civ V was interesting, but a great resource hog. (so I can't play it until I get a new system)

Still one of the best games ever.
    Just...One...More...Turn...
and before you know it...it's 4am. (That's why I turned the clock/time on, to help a little bit, but not much)

Lost the CD in the move, so I haven't played it in 3 years.

Truer words have never been spoken!

I didn't start playing until Civ IV, since I've always been into RTS games (Age of Empires and the sequels, in particular), but my hubs got me Civ V for Christmas last year, and it's one of my favorites; that said, it is the kind of game that keeps me going, and going, and going.

On a completely unrelated and pointless note, I am rocking out to some pop favorites from my past ("Truly Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden, "Senorita" by Justin Timberlake so far).

I have lost a lot of sleep to various Civ games. Started at 14-15 with the first one, still hooked.
