My son explained this to me today. Not at all good news. Then we segued into a talk about Valve (unrelated, but not about to go the being bought by FB route).

 

I have zero energy today. Up late supporting my friend via phone.
Don't want to do shit today. Memories of old hurt have surfaced and they're not relevant.
This is very frustrating. As much as I want to be there for her, I need to be there for myself.

Dr. Dickhead is out of the lab for the rest of the week. The BSB pandora is blasting and the entire lab is singing along. Sometimes grad school isn't so bad.

I came home for lunch this afternoon to discover that my fridge wants to fuck me.



It's an icicle, for those who might be confused. Sadly, I didn't save it, and I'll admit that I'm wishing I had.

 

So I let this old highschool buddy from Germany stay at my nice place for a whole month, and the only signs of affection he'll give me are nippletwisters and putting frozen stuff on my skin.

I feel neglected.
