    Going to a bar on St. Patrick's Day is pretty unappealing considering that the place (any place) would be extremely crowded, and I'd be very unlikely to see anyone I know.

    It would be just like drinking alone, except much louder and more expensive.

    Nope...turned out to be quite "normal"
    Not too crowded, everyone was well behaved.
    Then again, I decided to walk, not drive, to a franchise "Greene Turtle" near me. (not the best place, but close & safe)
    That, and it was Monday after a snowstorm...so likely many were home instead. (I heard Sunday was more populated)
    But...I had a couple of Guinnesses, a couple of Cap & Cokes, a couple of meals...and a triple shot with a birthday gathering next to me.

    A couple of double-takes/glances from some cuties...but nothing substantial to work in on.
    Not my best night out, but not my worst either.

    It was a nice outing, nice buzz, nice walk and not much money spent.
    However, I did have some decent chats & smiles, so I wasn't a pariah. (which has happened at times)
    And it's back to work tomorrow.

    If there would have been more energy, then I might have dove in a bit more.
    But sedate provokes sedate.

    Good practice though...I'll be back in it to win it, sooner or later.
    Right now, I'm just dabblin' my toes in the water...before I do a full dive and laps.
