Feeling good. Last night I squatted 135, 185 225, 275, 315, 365, and 405 for five reps and warmed down with a set of 315 for 15 reps. Needless to say I had to sit down for a while, but I felt strong.

    Thanks Geritol (not really)

I gave up gluten for lent. Maybe for longer; I'll have to see if I can keep it up after Easter. Also started shadow boxing again, and Mrs Moose & I have a workout buddy come to our place on Thursday. Last night we did a Zumba class on the Wii that kicked my ass.
Anyway. On Ash Wednesday, the scale read 344.4. I'm looking forward to seeing where I stand come Easter. Before-and-after photos may or may not be forthcoming....

I like fitness - and most importantly aesthetics - but I'm naturally an ultra-skinny ectomorph, and can't put on or keep weight for the life of me; every night I weigh about 145lbs, and every morning about 143lbs because I burn significant energy even when sleeping I guess. This is with working out several times a week, as well as supplements (CytoSport Monster Mass, Cell-Tech, several testosterone boosters, ass-loads of vitamins, etc.). I have started buying top sirloin steaks and eating it almost every night though, so that may help me out a bit. I've been gradually gaining more and more lean muscle over the last 4-6 months, so that's good too. Check my BodySpace profile for more (also in my sig).

Week 1, 3.3 lbs gone. A before picture, of which I am not particularly proud, has been taken.

HOLY SHIT your profile picture is The Maxx and the Leopard Queen! Awesome. Nary a more brilliant cartoon has been made, and "cartoon" really doesn't sum it up - it's really a psychology class disguised as a cartoon. Congrats on your progress tho!

I went to the gym today for the first time in over a year. I know it's not much of an accomplishment, but it's a start, and that's what I need.

None of my friends on myfitnesspal are active anymore. If anyone still uses it regularly and wants to add me please send me a PM and I'll give you my email address.

So, I lost all the mass I gained over the last few months due to dropping weight training and from lotsa running in preparation for a race.

Fuck me. My goddamn pixel jockey bicycle nerd best friend now weighs more than me.

I'm going to steal her quads while she sleeps.

    Dem legs.

A week in Washington DC. Lots of walking, no weight training. Gonna have to hit the gym and make up for lost time, or maybe I'll wait another day.

Doh!, my bad. My woman made me go, so I ended up walking all day and complaining about my feet all night. A drink would have been too much fun.

We might be heading up that way again in the near future. Not Wash DC directly but Virginia. I'll make sure to post that or PM ya. I certainly don't drink enough, or have friends to hang out with...

Don't worry, he probably would have forgotten to come off the range to meet up. ;)

If there is a character I would like to have a beer with, it would be Plan9. My brain keeps forgetting that socializing is good for me. Hopefully my new drugs will help with that too.

Squats make me hurt. Like for days. I suppose that means I should do more of them.

Today was squat day again. 30 min recumbant bike. Warmup, then squats 135 185 225 275 315 365 410 x 5 reps then 315 x 15 reps. Followed by much heavy breathing and 'stretching'. I lived through it.
