Took a late lunch.

Got on the bike for the first time since this ridiculous arctic horror we called 'winter' hit. Put a touch over 40 miles on it.

This introduction to an anthology of avant-garde poetry I'm working on is forcing me to make use of my educational background on literary theory.

And you said it was useless in the real world!

How soon is too soon to introduce students to Michel Foucault?

These are the questions I struggle with.

 

I think they'd totally get Foucault's ideas on the panopticon in Discipline and Punish (as applied outside of prisons), especially if you tie it to Orwellian concepts. There are so many modern examples due to the advances in technology.

What grade level are they again?

 

If we can get a @Remixer sighting in soon, we'll be close to having the whole band back together.
