A 69 pound mutt. Her mother was a 28 pound border collie. She does have the long collie body. Very short fur, all black except for a white patch on her chest, and salt/pepper paws.

Oh yes. Body at least a foot long. It was the size of a smallish adult cat.

The dog was moving fast. I let her in, and then saw (too late) that she was carrying something that looked like a big fur hat.
