Seven years is a long time to be together, especially with no sex. You're 25 and he's 27. Given the length of time that you've been together and your respective ages, you should be able to openly discuss sex and masturbation. Discussing masturbation isn't easy for some people, but y'all really need to get it out in the open.

You know, when I joined TFP 5 or 7 years ago, I got the impression that it was one of those sort of stuck-up, stuffy high-brow communities where everybody was all classy and elegant in their speech, only discussing topics of the utmost social importance and sociopolitical relevance... So I left out of boredom.

Imagine my pleasant surprise as I return half a decade later and come to find a forum more closely resembling something closer to a cocktail party where most of the attendees are over by the punch bowl half-sloshed and jibbering about masturbation habits, a good number of others are engaging in some kind of unspeakable depravity somewhere upstairs - possibly involving fursuits and various pieces of fruit, and a few of them are coked outta their gourds and stumbling around outside in the front lawn mostly naked.... So in other words, the exact kind of party I want to stay at!

 

I've never found TFP to be stuffy, stuck-up, or high-brow (well, there were & still are are some very intelligent TFP members who love to read their own writing ). I'd say the "partying" crowd was much more prevalent here seven years ago than today. But I'm not privy to what goes on behind the scenes here .

I have no idea what you are talking about. The people here now clustered by the punch bowl are the little cliques that all pat each other on the back for every little inane comment. This place used to be a lot more stimulating with a lot more topics to be discussed. The sexuality board, the ladies lounge, etc... we need some people back pissing in the cornflakes. Or people who are completed and a trainer. There are people here with 1500 posts and five thousand likes. They are not that interesting.

 

I've clicked on only three alerts and read two hard slams of the current TFP.

I agree that the TFP used to be much more active with a greater diversity of thread topics, opinions, views, etc. As for cliques, that is the main reason that I stepped away from TFP 4.
